"It’s a great basic hotel for the money. It’s not a bad deal but know that it’s basic. And for me it was expected in a small beach town of a Third World country. So there was nothing disappointing except for the Internet. I was completely lied to, and they tried to deceive me by telling me that I typed in the wrong Internet and finally when I told her why don’t you come to my room and show me because she said I can only access it from the room and not in the lobby. Then she finally admitted that there’s no Wi-Fi and they will fix it tomorrow. There was also the largest cockroach I’ve ever seen But again I imagine that’s something that is in a surprise in a town of a Third World country."

"It’s an amazing place! A historic house in an excellent location with everything you need inside. It doesn’t have a stove, but it has a microwave. Free parking, a supermarket nearby, and a beautiful park with a swan lake just a few steps away. Everything is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is modern. We want to come back."

"Balcones del Caribe is a beautiful spot with an excellent location and easy access to the beach. The complex feels very safe, and the staff were always helpful when we needed general information. My only concerns were about the condition of the village: the back door didn’t have a proper lock, the bathroom door wasn’t closing well, and the safe box wasn’t working during our stay. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great potential—just needs a bit more attention to maintenance."
