This hotel and room were both quite charming. The room is big and the ceilings were very high. It's in an historic building and we'll cared for. I loved my room there.

9.8/10 Exceptional! (24 reviews)
Really enjoyed my stay here overall. The staff were lovely, friendly and very accommodating throughout.
They were especially helpful when I got stuck in a random Tenerife and couldn’t get an Uber. I asked reception for help and they happily called a taxi for me, which arrived within about 10 minutes. Really appreciated that.
Breakfast was brilliant with loads of choice, and the spa was also a big plus. I had a deep tissue massage which was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of the stay.
A couple of small negatives though. The hotel could really do with better signage. It was surprisingly difficult to find certain things, especially when you first arrive. There didn’t seem to be any signs showing where breakfast was, and I also struggled to work out how to get to places like the sauna.
The air conditioning in my room also could have been better. I had it set to 18°C, but it definitely didn’t feel like 18°C in the room. There was a ceiling fan too, but I couldn’t get that to work, so the room was warmer than I would have liked.
Food at the hotel was also quite expensive. I paid around €39 for patatas bravas and six croquettes, which felt pretty steep for what it was.
That said, the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. The staff were outstanding, breakfast was great and I really enjoyed the spa. I’d happily stay again, but better signage, stronger air conditioning and slightly more reasonable food prices would improve things a lot.

8/10 Very good! (328 reviews)
Food was very good, staff were friendly enough, pool area was clean, bar was ok. Rooms were a bit dated. Two single beds pushed together, not what we asked for!
Cleaners were hard working as were the bar staff.
Had to pay for the safe that was already in room which I have never had anywhere I have been before. This was after telling us that the Spa was not open for the whole week we were staying! This was one of the main reasons we picked this resort!
We were then told we could use other hotels but would obviously be charged! We were never notified before we arrived, when asked via email if we could upgrade room, we were simply told they couldnt do anything as we booked via third party and to go to them! No help what so ever! Don't bother with sea view room, just black rocks!
The local people were lovey and although we were there just to relax and chill out and have a nice few spa sessions! [Not] so didnt do much site seeing. But what we did see was lovely and wish we had a bit more time to see more. Would I go back to Tenerrife? Absolutely! This hotel! Nope! Tried to get compensation the hotel simply denied responsibility and said spa was open now!? Brilliant! Dont usually leave reviews like this, but people shouldn't have to have to go through the same!
