Stayed here with a friend. Pros - Staff was friendly and welcoming, especially the entertainment staff. They were hilarious and kept the energy high every day. Bar and buffets right on the beach. Everything was clean. Cons - hotel is definitely dated, on the older side. Our water was cold for our entire stay, we complained every day but it was never fixed so we took cold showers the entire time. Food was mid (to be expected at an all inclusive), restaurant food was better than the buffet but hard to get reservations. Power would go out 1-2x every day only for about a minute or two at a time but it was a bit unsettling at night as everything would go pitch black. The beach water is a bit murky but still swimmable. Be careful though as both my friend and I got stung by jellyfish in the water (of course not the properties fault). Overall a decent stay but I’m sure there is better out there for the money you’re going to pay.

The reason why I gave it 3 star was mainly because the checkin staff tried to charge us more when we checked in because they said that 2 people were booked as children which by expedia standards they are because they are 17 years old. When we made the booking it asked how many adults 18 plus then how many children 17 and under which was 2 but the resort said they were not children and wouldnt let them check in at first they trying to get them to pay more, I explained that names and d.o.b were on the reservation and we were not paying more. It took awhile to get to our room which was frustrating after travelling all day! It really made no sense whatsoever as we paid the same rate per person for 18 plus as we did for 17 year olds.
The resort was ok, we had fun mainly because we paid extra for excursions.
We werent really impressed with the food, it seemed to all taste the same.

Amazing stay with my family in celebration of our wedding anniversary. Excellent treatment and amenities! This area of DR is tranquil if not into the busyness of Punta Cana! Would definitely recommend! Great memories created. DR never disappoints!
