"This is a nice smallish hotel at the outskirts of Alcazar. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, maybe a bit minimal equiped but it has all you need. Attached is a restaurant and cafeteria with pretty good food too. Something to be aware of - it is on the outskirts of Alcazar and takes about 20 minutes to walk into the town centre, over an hour to the windmills/sights (driving or cycling is of course much quicker) - plan accordingly."

"This is an excellent family-run hotel situated near the centre of Valdepenas. Easy to reach from the main route from Madrid to southern Spain. The hotel has secure underground parking for a small fee. The owner/manager and his family are veery friendly and justifiably take pride in their business.
