"there are a lot of stairs and no elevator. when I first read this comment I thought so what. it’ll be my exercise. i’m in good health mid fifties. and it was a chore to get to and from the pool/ beach to the room and or the restaurant. signs for the rooms and floors were confusing. it is mexico. and it is tropical. bring bug spray. the good stuff. don’t be afraid of insects or the loud birds in the am. drinks were good. food and servers great. beach was wonderful."

"I can only echo the comments of others: El Mango is an exceptional vacation rental in an exceptional, beautiful, and unique town. Claire is knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to respond to all inquiries. This rental is a joy to be in, its design perfectly attuned to its location. The beach is a swimmer's delight and the town is full of great restaurants. As others have mentioned, access to the unit does require being adept with stairs. Access to town is easy with frequent local buses and taxis. I recommend Ël Mango without reservation. "
