"I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...

"Un très bon séjour chez Jean-Paul et Isabelle, qui sont de merveilleux hôtes.Le logement n'est pas très grand mais extrêmement bien équipé, et comprend tout ce qu'il faut pour bien accueillir 2 personnes.A côté de cela, le "gîte" dispose d'un formidable niveau de services : une piscine très agréable, un barbecue, un espace "bar" ombragé (idéal pour se poser l'après-midi à l'abri du soleil), une table d'échec, un babyfoot, un espace pétanque...Et le meilleur : l'accueil de Jean-Paul et Isabelle....

"We loved this beautiful apt. and loved the location. The apt. is large and bright and we had everything we needed. We loved walking across the river and thru the beautiful park to get to the castle. Richard was so friendly and helpful and we want to go back again for sure. The terrace is also wonderful--wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more. "The hotel is a lovely setting and the main hotel appears to be excellent, resident cat that was the highlight of the stay and lovely dog, grounds are beautiful and lovely coffee. I would stay again with amendments; A few things holding the hotel back- rooms in a building a room over, clearly from hotels success but need work. No kettle/coffee or cups, but instead singular can of fancy water which was not replenished. Spa was a surcharge in 30 min blocks and not advertised as such and pool was closed but not advertised. It's not suitable for elder guests, as no lift and one elderly person in our ground fell down the stairs which are dark and not easy to see. "

"The room was large and clean and well-appointed. The gentleman who seemed to be the manager was very kind and accommodating. Food was good. Front desk clerk who checked us in argued that breakfast was not included for our price, and I had to pull up the Expedia receipt details - AND she insisted on calling the manager before she honored it. That made for a rough start to our stay. It is not conveniently located to the walled city - I would have probably booked something closer. However, parking onsite was easy and included, and the manager worked very hard to make sure our stay was comfortable and hospitable - which we appreciated. "
