Toller Gastgeber und tolle Wohnung.

Die Wohnung liegt in einer kleinen Anlage in der Altstadt in sehr ruhiger Lage. Sehr schön eingerichtet mit vielen liebevollen Details. Tee und Kaffee sowie Wasser und Wein waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Gute Tips für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren Anfang März die einzigen Gäste in der Unterkunft und hatten eine wunderschöne Woche. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet und in der Küche fehlt es wirklich an nichts. Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar und gut. Die Kommunikation mit dem Inhaber Andreas war einfach und sehr verlässlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Herrliches Kleinod mit Charme

Eine authentische Unterkunft in einem schönen und sehr ursprünglichen Dorf.Highlights : Die Ruhe, die absolut freundlichen, hilfsbereiten und professionellen Gastgeber, die empfohlene Taverne, die verkehrsgünstige Lage und .... Excellent!

Andreas was really nice, gave us good recommendations of things to do around whether it was hikes, beaches or shopping. The hotel is small and peaceful so very relaxing. There are a few Taverns very close by and also a grocery store all within walking distance. All together was very good, ideal for couples.

Fantastic Village and Welcoming Cottage

The Charalambos Cottage was a lovely experience. Although I was traveling for work, the stay at Charalambos made the business trip casual. Not your average hotel visit with simple rooms. Warm and welcoming environment with a garden at the entrance and fragrant flowers. Nice patio for enjoying the sun and small pool for cooling off. I would recommend and stay again.

Perfect Couple's Choice in an Adorable Village

I am American and my fiance is Russian so when we decided to meet while we wait on an engagement visa to be approved, we stayed in this perfect little cottage. The cottage itself was in perfect condition with everything I expected and more. It was perfect for the two of us while we rested after long days of sight seeing and for cooking breakfasts and dinners.The room itself was just right for a couple. The owner of the cottage was extremely welcoming and treated us to local wines and candies. The quiet compared to the loud cities was amazing at night. I actually proposed to her on the spacious patio that faced more of the village down the hill and the rising hills in the distance. So beautiful! We can't wait to go back!

Chypre authentique

Accueil formidable , la propriété compte 4 chambres et 1 piscine calme et reposant chambres tout confort jusqu'au moindre détail, petit village typique Chypriote avec plusieurs tavernes à des prix imbattables. Très bonne situation à 30 min de Limassol et de Larnaca (voiture necessaire) . Pas de petit déjeuner mais possibilité d'acheter ce qu'il faut pour le prendre sur la rerrasse ou d'aller dans une des tavernes 6€ pour un copieux petit déjeuner Chypriote. Le midi (mi septembre) les tavernes étaient fermées., pas de possibilite de déjeuner dans le village. Beaucoup de documentation touristique disponible et Abdeeas est toujours prêt à vous aider et vous conseiller Merci encore à lui et àson èpouse pour leur accueil chaleureux et authentique.

A real Greek Cypriot experience - not to be missed

Kalavasos is a genuine Greek Cypriot experience and, Andreas, your host and owner of Charalambros Cottage will only enhance this. He is on hand to offer advice and ideas on trips to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and is equally generous in sharing local wines, fruits and delicacies to excite your interest in things you may have not considered. This is done in a most genuine and non-intrusive manner and he is a wealth of knowledge that by accepting will do nothing but enhance your holiday. You will be living amongst real Greek Cypriots in their ancestral homes and experiencing the real Cyprus of many years ago. Expect to shop in tiny local shops with limited local stock run by old ladies and attempt to speak Greek which is heard everywhere. Plenty of local taverns for the evenings are within easy walking distance of this superb hotel although you will find all the necessary equipment in you apartment to prepare meals yourself. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained. It's great! You have the options of sunning yourself in the private garden or dipping into the pool on your doorstep, exploring the local hills or venturing out by car on short journeys to the likes of Governor's Beach (12km) or Zygi (8km). As Charalambos Cottage is only 5km from the main motorway and quite central you have access to Limassol and Paphos in the west, Larnaca and Famagusta in the east and Troodos and Nicosia in the north if you feel more adventurous.

Lovely accomodation with a super friendly host

Beautifull garden with nicely decorated, cosy clean appartments. Didnt use the pool since it was still a bit too chilly but I can imagine taking a dip when it's warmer ! Andreas is a very friendly entertaining host who gave us some very usefull tips on where to go and what to do. Then there was the bottle of wine (from the family vineyard), the home made olive oil, the oranges and lemons, a bottle of water and a supply of coffee, tea, sugar and milk. And let's not forget all the delicious cakes and pies Simoni made. The village of Kalavasos is lovely with very welcoming people. You will need a car to get around.
