"Quirky building hidden amongst others. Beautiful old staircase and lovely open air terrace, which was wonderful to sit in the sun with a beer. Nice clean room. Downside was having to use WhatsApp as a key to get into the building and the room. Clever but as traveling we didn't have WiFi or mobile data and so was forced to use our mobiles abroad and at a cost. Would have preferred a key. "I loved my stay here, it was exactly what I needed. The space was cozy and the garden was absolutely wonderful to spend time in. My hosts were communicative and so, so nice! My only note is that I was very excited about the rope hammock featured in the photos, but unfortunately it was no longer there when I arrived. But otherwise, great spot to enjoy Tours from, and all of France, or to get away and have some time to yourself. If coming in summer, be prepared for bugs and heat! "

We learned that we had been expected to bring our own linen, and we would [will?] be charged a cleaning fee if the room is not clean enough. Massive space for cost. This is an event cluster of apartments, and the management is not quite set up for smooth per diem rentals. All things considered, a pleasant stay and we navigated the lack of short term rental support."

"Parking limited but found a place. That's the worst! Everything else superb. Large room, all facilities we might need. Large well appointed bathroom, lovely soaps etc. Shower cubicle, separate small room with toilet. TV, fridge, tea, coffee maker, microwave. (no milk) Large comfortable bed. Oh and 4 macarons waiting to be sampled. Lovely."

"The deluxe room was well designed for travelers, with a good bed, toilet separate from a great shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of closet space and enough room. It was superb value for the price. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast also good value. The hotel isn’t modern but has character and is comfortable. It is in a good location, readily accessible to the sights of Tours and the railway station but also well situated for quickly driving out of town to visit chateaux. The parking, for which one pays extra and needs to reserve, is tight, so we wished we had had a mid-size instead of full-size SUV (which would have also been better for some of the narrow country roads outside of Tours). The gym only has a few cardio machines but one could probably get a good workout at a fitness club not far away. We didn’t try the mini-pool or hamam but they looked nice."
