Many visitors come to bask in its beautiful outdoor settings, namely the beaches, island views, and sunsets. Hotels in Lantau Island provide a good starting point for sightseeing in and around the Discovery Bay area.

Sightseeing around Lantau Island

At University Museum and Art Gallery, Madame Tussauds, and Para Site Art Space, you'll learn about local culture. Tung Chung Fort, Po Lin Monastery, and Big Buddha are well-known local landmarks. Ngong Ping 360, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Tuen Mun Reptile House are family favourites.

Shopping and hiking are a couple of popular activities in the area. Cheung Sha Beach, Pui O Beach, and Silvermine Beach are a few spots to soak up some sunshine. Getting around Lantau Island

If you want to venture out of town, Hong Kong Sunny Bay Station is the closest train station. You can also catch a ride at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Station. If you want to explore what's across the water, take a ferry from the port.
