1163 Milroy Grose Rd. Lansing, WV 25862. Our luxurious Cabins are located minutes from Adventures on the Gorge and the Gauley River National Recreation Area as well as the largest lake in West Virginia. Summersville Lake.

We are in an outdoor recreation area offering the best in whitewater rafting, kayaking, Ziplining (We own Gravity-New River Gorge Zip Lines) Our large local outfitter operates it for us along with their many activities at Adventures on the Gorge. They offer these activities along with hiking, rock-climbing, caving, biking, fishing trips and several other activities. They are only a couple miles away and have 4 restaurants along with a beautiful pool of which you receive an evening pass to, by booking a daytime activity with them. You will receive a 10% discount on any activity they offer by mentioning that Mill Creek Cabins sent you.
We have 2 cabins this size that are close to everything, but in a secluded wooded setting.
These cabins have 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each downstairs. We have 2 queens in a loft bedroom. Full bath downstairs and a half bath upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen, all linens, paper products, dish and hand soap as well as a couple trash bags. If you have a large group, we suggest you bring some extra paper towels, and trash bags. Most guests do so without saying. Cell tower on the property and free WIFI. Large Smart TV. Outside we have a nice hot tub on a covered porch, a charcoal grill and picnic table. We also have a firepit for a nice evening campfire under the stars. We have wood available.
These cabins do have washers and dryers for your convenience.

Great Weekend Getaway

Cabin is in great location for the New River Gorge area and activities. Very clean. Everything as listed on VRBO site. Recommend for a nice getaway.

We enjoyed the privacy. It was nice & cozy being surrounded by woods.The road was a little steep & a little rough getting up to the cabin but we were aware of it before we booked.

Family getaway

Our stay was very pleasant. We were traveling with our parents and adult children. The cabin was clean, in a nice secluded and quiet location. There was plenty of room for all. We made use of the grill and the fire ring. Check in and check out very easy. Host was pleasant and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.

Fall get away

Grade setting. No other cabins or houses in view. Placed to put up a tent. Had nice fires and plenty of firewood in the area. Enjoyed the hot tub. Did not spend much time in a cabin but provided great accommodations. Would definitely book again

Great Family Vacation!

This was the perfect cabin for what we needed. The cabin was close enough to everything we wanted to do but still very private and in a wooded area, we loved feeling like we were "glamping" in the evenings after a long hike! My family is already planning on coming back when my nieces are older so we can do more of the adventurous activities like white water rafting and ziplining. We will definitely look into staying in this cabin again, or possibly one of the bigger ones nearby if we have more family members join us.

Fun Family Vacation

This was our first family vacation in years and we had 7 adults who used the cabin for a week getaway. We were familiar with the area so having this space turned out great as it had everything we needed in a great location. The cabin offered all the amenities we needed including stove, internet, microwave, fireplace, fire pit, charcoal grill, hot tub and washer/dryer. The place was clean and the host was quick to respond when contacted.The driveway is a bit steep getting in but we did not have any issues.

Great cabin near New River Gorge

Loved the cabin. Perfect for our family. Hot tub was clean and nice. Communication from property manager was not great on our arrival. Waited an hour for key and code to check in. Also asked for more washcloths and never received a response. Location of cabin was perfect for what we wanted. Overall a great stay. Can’t wait to visit WV again!

The hot tub was great. The cabin had beautiful artwork built into the wall. The furniture and bathrooms were very nice at one time. We had a nice time while we were there. The only thing I could really complain about would be the driveway is straight uphill. Some relatives declined to visit us there. Also, a light on the stairs would be nice.

Family unite

A great spot for family time and close to the gorge. Shower handle loose, half bath very low ceiling. Glasses could be added to or replaced. There was a cough drop stuck in kitchen sink and a waffle in our garbage. BUT the cabin was beautiful and we would go back in a flash.

Excellent/Accommodating

We had a wonderful stay in cabin 8. Very clean and well kept. During our stay, there was an issue outside anyone’s control and everything was handled beyond expectation. The property owners/ management did everything they could to ensure we had what we needed until the issue was resolved and communicated with us through out the day. All was taken care of in a day with very little inconvenience. I highly recommend staying here. The owners/managers are extremely helpful, professional and want to provide the best service.

Father’s Day weekend

We enjoyed how this property was tucked back a bit. We couldn’t see our neighbors which was nice. I also appreciated firewood being on the property. We got full use of the fire pit and grill. Parking was easy and it was easy to find the cabin. The check in and out were smooth. There were a couple of oddities but were extremely minor inconveniences. There is no dishwasher, and the bathroom door downstairs locks itself sometimes and only one of us could figure out how to unlock it. But overall these small things did not dampen our great weekend!

Great location

The cabin is in a great location and the check in process was seamless. Everything was clean and neat. We felt there were a few minor maintenance issues that need to be addressed but that is just normal wear and tear on a high use property. On some of the outlets plugs would simply fall out when plugged in and the ventilation fan in the downstairs bathroom didn't work without an awful noise. Again, minor issues and part of normal wear on a property that can quickly be addressed. I would stay here again! If you like something a little bit adventurous be sure to try the bridge walk under the bridge across the gorge. Very fun and interesting!

Secluded cabin in the woods

This is a great cabin. Check in and check out is easy. No one bothers you, so you can come and go as you please. You see nature and its quiet. It is just like a home away from home. Yes, some of the outside items were dirty but it is a cabin in the woods so that should be expected. You do need a 4 × 4 to get to cabin 8 but if you have this its easy. Its close to the areas attractions. My only complaint would be that one of the beds was very hard, which unfortunately was my bed. My family had comfortable beds. I ended up on the couch. Some people like firm mattresses but it didn't work for any of us. Overall, it is a great cabin and great place to stay. My family and I would stay there again. (We just might bring an air mattress next time)

Mill Creek Cabin a little disappointed

I would have loved to give this a great rating. The cabin was exactly what I expected, rustic and private. Our first impression was great. The cabin was clean and spacious. But on closer look there were a few things needing attention. Outside the grill should be replaced. We wnet to Lowes to buy one we could cook on. The chairs around the fire pit are old and rusty. Inside there is little glassware, just 2 old plastic wine glasses, 1 cocktail glass and a few tumblers. The utensil drawers are broken. The first time I opened one it fell out of the cabinet. The toaster didn't work. All of this aside we enjoyed our stay but few dollars spent on replacing old, broken or missing items would go a long way.

Best WV Cabin rental!

We will definitely be back in the future! We had originally booked cabin #8, before check-in we were contacted and informed we were being moved to a larger cabin, for the same price. Beds and pillows were very comfortable!Hot tub was very clean & hot, it was perfect! Communication with the host was extraordinary!

We were an adult family trip to go rafting for the fall Gauley. We stayed 2 nights and had a great time. The cabin was clean, appliances all worked, internet was fine. The cabin location was close to Gauley and New River Rafting and was secluded and private feeling. Communication was easy and we had no issues!

Great experience!

This cabin was perfect for us! It was very clean, and had everything we needed. It was a great location. This was a perfect place to see wildlife. The first morning we woke up to a bunch of baby deer sleeping behind the cabin. The next morning, we even saw a bear cub wandering around. We also saw wild turkeys.
