"We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautifully renovated and unusual house. It was lovely to sit and look at the horses and cattle in the grounds and the bird life was excellent. We could have done with a bit more equipment in the kitchen, such as a chopping board, but most things were there. The hosts were very friendly."

"Beautifully updated and lovingly maintained cottage for a perfect experience of rural France. Very close to two major towns (Pau and Bayonne) as well as multiple charming villages, it makes for an ideal location for exploring the foothills of Pyrénées. The owners, Shona and Ken, are very friendly and accommodating people, truly interested in the comfort of their guests. We strongly recommend the gîte, and hope to return there again soon."

"The house and grounds so beautifully curated and maintained by the owner Thierry is an absolute joy to stay in. Wildlife abounds - deer appearing in the field, butterflies, birds of prey, geckos and the star of the show the midwife toad whose sonar like call will astonish! "Cadre et environnement magnifiques, si vous recherchez des vacances paisibles, c'est le lieu idéal. Nous avons adoré la maison atypique et décorée avec goût. Nous y avons passé 2 belles semaines. Sophie et Didier sont très sympathiques, ça fait plaisir d'être reçus de la sorte, ils sont très discrets également. Tout est à 3/4 h, 1h de voiture environ si vous souhaitez visiter les villes et villages. Le Béarn est un très bel endroit. A faire !"
