Everything was nice. The hotel staff was friendly. It's a basic hotel but that's all I needed. I had a room with no window which was also fine and I knew when I booked. I took away one star because I was a little concerned about a lamp in the room that would glow half bright during the night, which seems like something might be wrong with that wiring. (Based on my own misadventures in wiring) I still recommend this hotel as a nice basic place to stay because it's off the main road and therefore much quieter.

The staff at the Acoustic hotel constantly going above and beyond to help us have the best time in Hanaway, which we truly did! If I could give them six stars I would. We stayed there three nights and they upgraded us on the third night to a beautiful large room on the luxury side. The smaller room was OK too, except that it had no place to put any luggage so it was very crowded. We did not eat the breakfast, but it looked excellent. On the last day, they gave us a little gift of a Vietnamese bowl thanking us for our stay. They were truly attentive and personal, not just for good commercial purposes. Also, their location is ideal, on a smaller street, so there’s not too much noise, well noise, insulated, and exactly in the middle between the old quarter, the French Quarter, and the museum quarter. We could walk everywhere easily. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Hanoi.
