  • 4 bedroom 2 bath, accomodates 8 guests (maximum 10) We are across the street from both the Root River and Root River bike trail. Walking distance to all the City of Lanesboro has to offer! Ride your bicycles right in and out of our street level secure basement entry. This area has dedicated outlets for ebike charging, washer and dryer, extra refrigerator/freezer and storage. First level has a living area with balcony that looks over Elmwood Street and Parkway Ave. Beautiful kitchen, dining room, bathroom with walk in shower and queen bedroom. Access to beautiful courtyard with outdoor dining and grill. Top floor has living room with direct access to landscaped backyard, office and full bath with deep soaker tub/shower. 1 private queen bedroom and one king bedroom (semi-private, converted 3rd living room) with balcony overlooking the city with an adjacent kids bedroom room with two standard twin beds. 3 night minimum.

This property is amazing! It has a fully stocked kitchen. It is a perfect location. There is a big table for playing games. It met all of our expectations!!The stairs were an issue for some, but we dealt with them. The hosts were fantastic!

Lanesboro VRBO

We love our many vacations to Lanesboro and have stayed at several VRBOs, however, this place was amazing! Perfect place for a large family or 3 or 4 couples to enjoy. The kitchen is fully stocked with high end appliances. We loved the outdoor spaces as well for a fire or dining. Location to the Main Street is a bonus. I highly recommend this home and look forward to coming back!

Awesome house!

The house was awesome and very well stocked with everything we needed (kitchen supplies, bath towels, etc.). Firepit and outdoor dining area very nice as well. Hosts super easy to work with, prompt responses. House was clean and beds very comfortable. 4th bedroom isn't ideal for adults as the beds are shorter but a couple in our group are short so it worked. Will definitely stay here again if we're in the area!!

This property was perfect for a fall weekend in the Lanesboro area. Just off the main area of town, it was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the Root River State Trail. The house has been completely remodeled and is super clean, with high quality finishes and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well equipped. Our teens enjoyed having their own bedroom / living room area upstairs. The backyard fire pit (with firewood included) was a nice touch and fun extra activity. We biked to Preston and back on the RRST (20 miles round trip) which was beautiful with all the fall color and a fairly easy ride. Check in and check out were very smooth. Highly recommend!

Lanesboro House is perfect!!!

We visited Lanesboro for biking on the Root River State Trail, and kayaking. Our sty at Lanesboro House (there were 4 of us) could not have been better!! It was immaculately clean, very well provisioned, especially the gorgeous, gourmet kitchen!!! The setting is very quaint with a fire ring in the back for those chilly nights, a lovely dining area, and lower level indoor parking for our e-bikes!!! It was all perfect, and we’ll be back!!!

Lovely renovated home

Our group of six adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jill and Jim's home. They thought of everything you would possibly need, especially in the large kitchen. The house was immaculate and the beds were comfortable. We loved being so close to downtown and the trails. The lounging spaces inside and out are very comfortable. It is fun to see Lanesboro continue to thrive. Kayaking down the Root was a bit challenging at times with the water exposing so many boulders, but tons of fun. Do not miss the International Owl Center in Houston and the Lanesboro Museum!

Lovely spring weekend

The Lanesboro House was exceptionally clean and comfortable for our family. The kitchen had all of the brand new utensils we needed to cook and grill. We enjoyed the patio and also the large dining room table for board games. The house was steps from the Root River Trail where we recorded numerous species for the worldwide bird count. Many birds were also seen in the yard due to the stocked bird feeders. The owners even had additional supplies for restocking. Just down the street, we attended a superb performance at the Commonweal Theatre. What a wonderful weekend in Lanesboro.

Amazing Property!

We simply cannot say enough about this property! The owners are obviously interested in the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. The amenities are plentiful - so many things we brought were already provided. The kitchen is so well stocked with quality equipment, dishware, etc. that we all wanted to stay! They even provided bird seed and suet if we wanted so we could enjoy the birds as we enjoyed the outdoor environment. The town of Lanesboro was fun and so nice to be able to park our cars and walk every where we wanted to go. Our group always go to a different place every year but this place truly temps us to repeat! Thank you so much Jill & Jim for an amazing location!

Home away from home

This property is beautiful. Jill was extremely quick to answer any questions! You absolutely do not need to bring anything along except groceries, the kitchen is fully stocked and then some. The only thing to note would be that the king bedroom does not have a door, and the bedroom with the twin beds is through the king room. Perfect for our family because my kids were able to stay in that room while my husband and I were right there. If it wasn't family that could be weird. We would absolutely stay again!

Luxurious Accommodations, Great Location with lots of Bonus Amenities

This Lanesboro rental was very homie and luxurious with well thought out amenities. And, Well appointed kitchen. We grilled out a lot and enjoyed all the awesome outdoor spaces (Fire pit, Balconies, BBQ area, Birdwatching). The home/property has some many nice spaces to unplug. Bedrooms were comfortable and very private with their own spaces to spread out. Bathrooms were perfectly located in the house up and down for all us to share. The walk-in basement was perfect for bike storage and 100’ from the bike paths. Our entire group enjoyed our 7 night stay and rate it 5 stars. We were so impressed with the details and hosts. I highly recommend staying at this great house for the location, amenities and hosts.
