The master bedroom has a walkout balcony; and, there's a 12'X20' deck, with grill, off the kitchen. Stepping down there's a decorative patio, with chimnea, which also provides a secluded, scenic view to enjoy the company of family and friends.

Bikers’ Retreat
Located in the middle of the Root River bike trail, it’s a perfect location to go biking in either direction. And having the shed for locking up bikes was ideal. Quiet, peaceful little town offering an amazing pie shop a block from the rental property. The house was well equipped (except for towels- make sure to bring your own bath and hand towels). We loved the back deck and patio space for dining, hanging out, and for drying our wet clothes after a fun afternoon of tubing down the Root River.

Good Basecamp for a weekend in Lanesboro
This house is great for a small family. We had 2 couples so the bed situation (1 queen, 2 twins) was weird, but we made it work. It's well kept, owners communicated well. We saw a play in Lanesboro, went to some breweries and restaurants, visited a bluegrass festival, and did a good bit of fishing. Pretty great weekend getaway overall.

This place was just as advertised — large and inviting. Conveniently located right by the trail that leads directly to Lanesboro (and elsewhere). And Linda was a great, responsive host.

Girlfriends getaway
We had a wonderful time away with girlfriends. The place was gorgeous, meticulous, comforting homey, and a beautiful setting, a small, quaint town, outside of Lanesboro and Rushford, a sweet retreat in the fall the hostess personalized the trip by welcoming us in person, couldn’t have been better
