- Looking for a Northwoods getaway? Well, look no further! The VP Cozy Cottage has something for everyone, whether you want to go boating, fishing, UTVing, biking or snowmobiling. The cottage is located on Big Lake, on the south end of the famous Cisco Chain of Lakes in Land O' Lakes, WI. Catch the fall colors while enjoying the serenity of lake life.
If you're looking for peace and quiet, you're in luck! In the summer, you can enjoy the sounds of loons and in the winter, the stillness of the night. The Cisco Chain of Lakes has 15 lakes, with about 270 miles of scenic shoreline. You can rent a boat from McCormick Marina or Bents Camp, and there's a dock available for you to tie up your boat, with power.
The cottage is conveniently located within 15 minutes of downtown Boulder Junction and Land O' Lakes, where you'll find great shopping and restaurants. You can easily access the cottage from County Highway B, and there's no stair access to the lake, making it easier for you to get on and off the lake. We have a circle driveway that has easy trailer turnaround abilities, and if you need to use the public boat launch, it's less than 5 minutes away.
