Breakfast had a good variety and staff did a good job insuring sufficient items were out no matter the time in the morning. Comfortable place to stay. "If you need space for alot of guests, this property is ideal. Not only inside, but beautiful grounds, garage, well equipped fire pits, boathouse with many toys, large dock for boats/pontoon.Clear water for swimming, and easy walk from house to beautiful Big Portage lake.My favorite place was the catwalk to a private space over looking the lake. So peaceful.The home is a work of art. Many of the owners personal treasures you'll most likely will never see again. There's a boardroom, ice cream room, bar room, huge beautiful living room and Professional Kitchen!,besides 7 bedrooms. A focal point is The Gazebo for Wine Time! Just beautiful. Your property managers Lynne & Gary are professionals and it shows as they walk you through the property.We will return for Sled Races and already booked for 2026 Fall. Thank you "

"Our group of 4 couples had a relaxing time at this wonderful home. We ate all meals there, and the kitchen provided everything we needed. What a great benefit. We sat by the firepit often, and one person used a kayak as our late September weekend boasted summer-like weather. The home was spotless when we arrived and fit our proup perfectly!"
