About this property

White Horse Guest Home w/Pool / hot tub

  • We are within 10 minutes of the village of Intercourse, about 15 minutes from Shady Maple Smorgasbord and 60 Min away from Hershey and Philadelphia. We have a beautiful 15x26 above ground pool which is open from (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.) The 7 person hot tub was purchased in June of 2017. There is a beautiful fenced in backyard which borders Amish farmland in the rear of the property. The house sits on a main route with many buggies traveling by daily. Complimentary laundry room with detergent is provided on the first floor. At least one or more guests must be 21 years of age to rent this home. The property layout is great for family gatherings and smaller reunions.
    The kitchen has an island, kitchen table.Leading off from the kitchen is a full bathroom and a bedroom with a king bed. On the same side of the house is the sunroom (w sleeper sofa) that leads to the hot tub from one door and the pool through another. From the other side of the kitchen is the foyer, laundry room, BR, sitting area, 1st floor bedroom with a queen bed. A large living area is at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the other 2 bedrooms (1 Q bed & 2 DB beds) & bathroom. 1st floor full bath just remodeled Feb 2023. Pics not updated of remodeled bath

We were pleasantly surprised to find a place to stay with our family that was VERY clean, well equipped, roomy, and better than staying in more expensive hotels without our own kitchen. The owner was attentive,easy to communicate with and accomodating to our grandkids visiting with animals on his farm. We plan to stay here again on our next visit to Sight & Sound. Highly recommended!

Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub even though it was in the 50s during the late evening. The jacuzzi tub was great for the kids to enjoy a bath and the walk in shower was great for disabilities. The house had a lot of room and we enjoyed the different spaces. There was plenty of seating, towels, linens and even a high chair and pack and play. The little ones loved walking up to see the animals. We brought our own wood and enjoyed a campfire and s'mores. The place was excellent. The only negative was that the beds were a little hard.

Wonderful vacation

This house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 7 children ages 6m to 9years old. Plenty of room and very clean. The location is perfect for touring the nearby areas. The host family is very nice and our children enjoyed seeing the animals. We enjoyed seeing the horse drawn carriages going by and would be happy to stay there again!

Great Property For A Youth Ministry Trip

As one of the youth directors of my local church, this property was very nice and accommodating. Once the young people entered the house, they loved it and truly enjoyed it. While we were away most of the time because the convention center was far, we appreciated the place. It was also very clean and great.

Family trip to PA

The house and grounds were immaculate and the perfect size for my family of 7. The kids enjoyed the pool and games and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. Wish we had been able to stay longer to enjoy the other outdoor spaces like the BBQ and fire pit. Would highly recommend this property. Also thank you to our hosts for the delicious bread.

Wonderful place to stay

We had a wonderful weekend in Lancaster. This Vrbo was in a great location to Sight and Sound. It was a bit closer to the road than we originally thought but it was beautiful inside. My family enjoyed all the space the house provided as well as the hot tub. We had 11 people in our party from 70 to 5 in ages and all were very comfortable here. It was very clean which I really appreciated. Steve was a great host and I would high recommend this property.

Wonderful Clean and Comfortable Retreat

We were very pleased to have spent Thanksgiving weekend in such a wonderful, clean and well appointed home. The highlight , for us , was that the kitchen area was large enough for all to gather and that there were plenty of places for privacy as well. A delicious bread greeted us on the counter too. For me personally, the clop-clop of buggies passing by was comforting and enjoyable.
