Bad hotel do not get close!
An inappropriate hotel, with a very bad service, an inappropriate breakfast. The bed is not comfortable, the room is not maintained and very old, the light does not work, the balcony is broken and more. The shower is renovated and is the only consolation. The service is one of the worst I have encountered.

This hotel is a gem. Family owned and it’s obvious the owners care about their business. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Located in a quaint little village, it is perfect for a nice relaxing stay. The rooms are rather small, but comfortable and the home cooked tasty breakfast is delicious. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Very nice hotel and super friendly staff. Thermal springs pool a walk away. Reception staff super friendly and helpful to plan hikes in the mountains. Tasty breakfast.

Nice hotel in Loutra Ypatis with friendly staff, with a decent breakfast the area around the hotel was a bit of a ghost town but then again we visited at the very end of the season so probably should have expected it.

A perfect overnight stop
The hotel is in a very small and quiet town. We received a lovely warm welcome and an upgrade to a room on a higher floor with an even better view. Parking was in the street, which was fine. Our room was comfortable with a compact bathroom and a good shower. we enjoyed a drink on their terrace before walking to the nearby Taverna. Breakfast was good with the normal range of cereals, cold meats, cheese, juice etc plus thick yoghurt and delicious crepes. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Lovely quiet place
Quiet place in a lovely town off the beaten path. Great breakfast, run by sisters. Goats and sheep were trimming the grass in nearby fields.

A quaint, family-run establishment
Very accommodating owner/hosts. Ready to advise and help with local information and other needs. This establishment is located in a very quaint, clean and organized town. It is obvious that they try to keep up with maintenance and keeping the facility current. It would have been nice to have the option of a true double bed - rather than the solution of having two twin beds shoved together as is the case in many Greek establishments. We would not hesitate to stay here again if our travels take us this way.

A Great Place to Stay
Service was great. Julia and Sophia were specially kind, warm and helpful. The breakfast was full of delicious and fresh choices. We felt at home away from home. Definitely recommend!

Superb little hotel. Great value for money. Fantastic hospitality. Can not recommend highly enough. Extremely friendly, family run hotel. Centrally located for both attractions, such as Meteora and Delphi. The village also has its very own thermal spa, which is a great added extra and not promoted enough. Located at the foot hills of some beautiful mountains there are some amazing walks/hikes to be had too. Amazing views from rooms/balcony to the rear of the building. Good breakfast, clean and tidy rooms. Communal areas are very clean and modern decor/style. We booked an extra night as soon as we arrived. Swimming pool supplied by natural springs approx 150 meters from hotel. Parking on street directly outside the hotel. We could park our car outside our balcony.

Stayed there for one night with my girlfriend. We had absolutely no special requests or expectations. The only thing we wanted was a double bed so we booked a room with a double bed and paid in advance for it. Upon arrival the woman in the reception told us that she will not give us a room with a double bed but a room with two beds with a very nice bathroom. I told her that we don't care about the bathroom so much just for the bed, but I asked what was so special about the bathroom. The woman was thinking for a bit and after she told me "it is wow". She didn't convice me with that and i asked for the type of room that we paid for. We got finally a room with a double bed, it was ok. With a few spiders and some used toilet paper in the bin from the previus guests.

AMAZING hotel and AMAZING hostess/owner!!!!
We can't thank the owner enough for a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful! The rooms are spacious and the bar/eating area is very inviting. The owner, Loutra, is the most amazing host we've ever met. We had our in-laws with us, and all of us agreed that we've never met a more generous, accommodating host. She was very helpful with area suggestions for dining and the thermal pools, and she served us the most wonderful breakfasts! We would give Loutra and her hotel the highest recommendation--and we hope our paths cross again.

Wonderful surprise
We were looking for last minute accommodation in lamia but when everything was booked we found the alexakis in loutra ipati. It was the best!!! The accommodation was very clean, beds super comfy, water pressure in the shower was excellent and the staff we're very helpful and gave us fantastic suggestions. The area itself is a hidden gem at the foot of the mountain with so many things to see and areas to explore. It's good to have a car or scooter though. There is also a thermal spa only a few minutes by foot away from the hotel. This was such a wonderful chance discovery but I'm hoping to come back intentionally next time!!!

Small but lovely
A small and familiar place with wonderful and helpful staff. Easy check and quick in. The room was absolutly clean. Very good bed, matrace, pillows. New bathroom. Nice mountainview from our balcony. And most of all: the best breakfast - home made with fresh bread, juice, pan cakes, cheese, ham, sweets, fresh brewed coffee - that we had on our round trip.

I stayed here with my father and two adult brothers. We had three seperate rooms. We were well taken care of, feed and hosted. Run by sisters, this hotel has an updated lobby and bathrooms in the rooms. They are fun loving women who take pride in their work. They helped us research our family lineage (we were visiting the places from which our family emigrated to US in early 1900s). The breakfast was varied and plentiful and had something that all four of us liked! I highly recommend staying here. Be sure to visit the hot springs just a 4 minute walk.

Lovely Hotel in a Quiet Town
This hotel was wonderfully clean and comfortable. The owner was very sweet and helpful, and gave us suggestions on what to do during our stay. Breakfast was lovely, and among other things included special jams, spreads, and cakes that the owner made herself - yummy! The village itself is small, quiet, and clean, with several restaurants and it's own hot springs. I highly recommend this hotel.

Warmth and generousity in a peaceful setting
As a couple in our 50's touring with a car, we wanted to stay halfway between Delphi and Meteora. Loutra Ipatis is a quiet country town, on the outskirts of Lamia. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, helped by a hot spring complex which is only a couple blocks from the hotel. Looking north, the surrounding area spreads out with rolling hills filled with orchards and other agriculture. To the south the mountains rise up with forests and snow covered peaks. The hotel owners speak English well, and they are full of warmth and enthusiasm to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was nice and included several local, homemade items. Although, we did not take advantage of it, the hotel provides bar service in an indoor/outdoor area in the evening. WiFi was good. Note that dinner options will be somewhat limited, as the location is a small town. Fortunately, the local taverna two blocks away served good Greek food (and spoke English well). There are also a handful of other tavernas sprinkled among the surrounding towns.

An unexpected winner..
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Hotel owner Julia has a beaming smile and a pleasant demeanour, excellent English and is very proud, passionate and informative about a truly lovely locality in Greece. Amenities are clean, modern and aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast was varied and filling, including all the usual items plus some lovely local goodies like brewed local mountain tea and rice pudding. Julia's advice about a place to have dinner was a standout. Just nearby, only a 5 minutes walk, is an outstanding taverna that serves wood fired food from a traditional menu that we feel was some of the best food we have had anywhere in Greece. The combination of this hotel, the local taverna ( ask Julia which one), the nearby mountainous national park and the hot spring baths ( 4 euro for a swim) is a winner. It's unique and special and worth the effort.

A small gem 2 hours north of Athens
We stayed for 2 nights, one at the beginning and one at the end of our trip. This was supposed to be a short stop in between Athens and Pelion but ended being a very nice stay, the town is lovely, the local tavern is delicious, the Sulphur pool nearby was very relaxing and the views from the Athos mountain was very beautiful. The hostesses were lovely and gave us some recommendations for the surrounding area. This hotel should get 1.5 stars more in our opinion, we really enjoyed the stay and would recommend to our families and friends.

We've been in this hotel and we slept one night. The personnel was great, very happy and kind, the room was great, very clean but the tv is very small. Other then that we had a great over night stay. I really recommend it!

Wonderful, out of the way oasis
We were simply looking for somewhere to stay between Mt. Olympus (which we had hiked down that morning ) and Athens, so we found this hotel just outside Lamia. We were pleasantly surprised - my first impression was that it was a brand new hotel, but the owner informed us it had been around for quite some time. We sure couldn't tell! We were there mid-week in the off season, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The little village was charming and full of families, and the food at breakfast was superb, including some home grown strawberries that were so sweet. If you need to stay somewhere near Lamia, and don't mind being out in the country a bit, it is definitely worth the extra 20 minutes to stay at this hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer.
