Great place to visit Lamego and Régua

This place is phenomenal in many ways: the house is very spacious, clean and well equipped. The host is kind and helpful. The property is the best part: beautifully use of the land w vineyard, fruit trees and a green garden. We lovedk meeting the couple who works the land.

We loved it

A beautiful small and quiet rural house among the orchards and vines of an abundant part of the Portuguese countryside. It is spacious and has two terraces, one above a vegetable garden with its onions tomatoes, potatoes and beans, the other on the first floor and looking south at a beautiful view over the river valley. The house itself feels like a real, comfortable home, and its garden is full of lovely things. There are all the crockery and cutlery you could want, and also a large TV with cable channels; the wi-fi works well. There is access to an excellent modern pool across the road just two minutes' walk away. We also found lovely river swimming not far away. Nearby Lamego is an attractive historic town and we ate well in a reasonable restaurant next to the cathedral. Best of all was the warm and very helpful welcome from Anibal, who speaks good English, and his father, who gave us some red wine from his press right next to the house. We hope we can retun another year!

Nous avons séjourné durant 4 jours dans la Casa do Baptista. La location est superbe, confirme au descriptif et aux photos. La maison est très spacieuse, très bien équipée pour accueillir très agréablement 4 personnes.Antonio nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de sympathie, nous expliquant l'histoire de cette Maison et son implantation dans des vignes. La piscine attenante est superbe, très grande et très agréable également. Elle a été appréciée par les fortes chaleurs que nous avons connues durant notre séjour.La location se trouve bien située, proche de Lamego, Viseu, le Douro et même Porto. Une bonne position pour découvrir le Nord du Portugal.Nous avons rencontré des problèmes avec notre véhicule et Antonio a été constamment présent et son aide fut précieuse pour résoudre le problème et repartir sereinement en France. Merci infiniment pour cet appui.

Estadia excelente numa casa bem equipada e cuidada, envolvida num ambiente campestre agradável e sossegado. Destaco a área exterior, com a churrasqueira, a parreira e um diospireiro magnífico a permitirem refeições de Verão tranquilas e á sombra. A piscina, que fica numa propriedade adjacente de fácil acesso e com total privacidade, fez a delícia dos miúdos. Com a relva bem cuidada a fazer de colchão - também havia espreguiçadeiras e cadeiras à disposição - e as árvores a providenciarem uma sombra fresca, passaram-se bons momentos de descontração e dormiram-se grandes sestas. O Sr. Batista e o Sr. Aníbal são pessoas simpáticas, de bom trato e sempre prestáveis.

Beautiful Casa da Batista

The home was very comfortable and in an amazing environment. Our host was very generous with his time and energy in orienting us to his family home. The swimming pool was so refreshing. We also were welcome to pick cherries which were delicious.The last mile of roads were difficult for a medium to large car.

Calma, descontracção e muito à vontade

Fomos um grupo de 5 entre 8-10 de Julho e nossa estadia foi muito boa e muito agradável na Casa do Batista. Os donos foram extremamente simpáticos e prestáveis connosco desde o planeamento até a chegada. O processo de check-in foi muito simples e o Sr. Batista ainda foi bastante amável em oferecer-nos 2 garrafas de vinho caseiro. Além disso durante a estadia ainda foram bastante prestáveis em oferecer lenha e carvão para o churrasco. A casa tem muito boas condições, confortável e limpa. Pretendíamos umas mini-férias onde pudéssemos estar à vontade, sem que nos preocupássemos com barulho e horas e assim conseguimos, bem como pudemos desfrutar da calma que a localização oferece. O único aspecto negativo é apenas o facto de a piscina não ser no terreno da casa. Quando alugamos a casa, achávamos que a piscina situava-se logo em frente a casa, mas na realidade é preciso sair casa, subir uma pequena rua e esta encontra-se na propriedade de outra casa. Isto torna-se um pouco inconveniente, pois caso queiramos alguma coisa da casa enquanto estávamos na piscina, tínhamos de estar sempre a subir e descer a rua. Tirando esse pequeno pormenor, recomendo a casa a quem queira passar uns dias na tranquilidade. O preço fica acessível para grupos, a casa é fácil acesso e ainda tem um Lidl a 5/7min de carro para fazer uma compras.

perfeito para descansar e estar à vontade

a casa é limpa e funcional e bem equipada. as camas são confortáveis. o dono respondeu sempre com reactividade. e fomos super bem recebidos. o sítio é calmo e ao mesmo tempo fica perto (de carro) de sítios turísticos. a piscina é limpa e grande e foi sempre fácil de accesso (1 minuto a pé na mesma propriedade). a Aldeia beneficia de alguns comércios (farmácia, café, mini mercado) e tem bonitas paisagens para passear ou correr.
