"I think some addition to detail could be used to place this property on top. I provided some input to host that was professionally addressed and for that I appreciate the effort of the host. "This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time."

"The Little Red Cottage is a very cute tiny. It is well-equipped and nicely decorated with bright colors. We were there in the winter so we didn't get to see the trees and flowers in bloom, but the yard was well-cared-for and would certainly be beautiful Spring through Fall. I loved the selection of reading material that was available in the cottage. It was clear that the cottage is a project the hosts are committed to. There were many touches of their love of hospitality throughout the home."

"We were skeptical when we first arrived because the neighborhood looked shady and the reviews weren’t helping either. We decided to stay otherwise and every night I kept thinking is something going to happen to the car. All 3 nights and 4 days, nothing happened. We had a pretty good stay, the unit was pretty clean except for the shower curtain. And the bed was a bit uncomfortable for us but overall it wasn’t too bad."

"Surprising my mom for her birthday, this was one the best places I've stayed in thus far. Besides the gorgeous view, it was spacious and cozy. The kitchen flowed right onto the balcony where you can enjoy a quick BBQ. The sunlight that brightens the house with the ceiling to floor windows was welcoming every morning and every sunset. Spacious parking for visitors and with a washer/dryer made this a very comfortable stay. You also have the beach down the street for a great walk with a great view....

"The entire staff was excellent. Front desk staff was very courteous and promptly addressed our questions and needs. Large rooms in great condition, and most comfortable pillows I've experiences (which is a rarity in hotels). Breakfast arrangement and choices were good and the area was clean. Three improvement requests: 1) absolutely need a hook or towel bar next to shower stall to hang the towel (currently have to put towel on the floor or unsafely reach all the way to the counter). 2) install a handle on the wall at the shower to aid climbing in and out. 3) put a 2nd easy chair in these large rooms - typically most of the time at least 2 people in the room, correct? No one wants to relax in a desk chair. Overall - great experience, we will stay again and recommend to others. "
