Just Right
I was very pleased with the little cabin. I loved the view and the outdoor chairs and table. I felt welcomed and that the owners cared by the treats they left. And I loved the easy arrival plans and private quiet location. Everything one could possibly need was provided.

A true hidden gem!
All I can say is WOW! This was a wonderful place! A true hidden gem! The pictures don't do this quaint little bungalow justice, it's situated just up the hill from the lake, less than .3 miles. The little home has pocket views of the lake, and an easy walk down to the restaurants, marina and amazing little park area. The home was clean and well stocked with fresh towels, clean sheets, and a wonderful forest vibe. I highly recommend a stay and we plan on coming back next time we are at Flathead visiting family.

A Slice of Heaven
The photos do not do it justice, I will just say that right off the bat. Now that I am home, all I want to do is go back to Lakeside, and the Heller's little cabin was a significant portion of my being able to relax and enjoy my vacation. It was quite, clean, and convenient. Everything in Lakeside is about a 10 minute walk from the cabin (though I am lazy and drove most times). It is beautiful and peaceful and just what all my family and friends hoped I would find when taking a long overdue vacation from the insanity that is life. Thank you so VERY much!

Beautiful stay!
This was a really cute little cabin with a beautiful view. Gail had made the check in process very easy and had stocked the cabin with special treats and all of the small things you may have forgot to pack. We can't wait to stay again.

Cute cabin in great location
This was a great little home base for exploring Flathead Lake. Love the view from the front porch, and it was very clean and had a handy kitchenette for preparing food. A few minor things that might be helpful to know before booking - there's no wifi access (not an issue for us, but could be for others) and there are a couple of stairs in the bathroom to get up to the toilet and shower. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Security & Safety Concerns
Main concern is security and safety. We returned back to the cabin in the middle of the day and the street side door was open with someone doing some spray painting on the outside but needed to use an electrical outlet. We were not informed that someone would be in cabin. Once that person left, the door was left unlocked with the inability to lock it. We had to request a lock for the door and was initially given some resistance. The cabin inside is sweet and the bed is comfortable. Need to be careful when using the toilet as you have go up two steps. Other safety concern is that the space heaters are behind pieces of furniture.

Our painter pulled the door open because they had only hooked the little hook and had not turned the other latch. He was not aware that the cabin was being used. It was an honest mistake on all parts. We immediately put a padlock on the back door. To avoid that ever happening again we are putting a whole new door on. I must say that the husband treated me with severe disrespect so my husband went out and handled the problem immediately.

Perfect summer spot
Very nice spot and perfect little cabin. The mattress is perfectly soft, 2 mini fridges, little oven, air conditioning, fire pit and grill were the perfect setup. Gail is very communicative and accommodating. Will definitely have to come back!

The cabin is cozy, clean, and well-decorated. The hosts were great to work with, they even gave us recommendation for places to visit during our stay. It may be small, but offers a lot.

Cozy Stay
My friend and I had a lovely stay at Jack and Gail’s rental. It was so comfortable, clean, and the bed was very cozy. The AC unit was amazing considering it was in the 90’s during our stay. Would recommend if you are visiting Montana or wanting a cool place to escape to with a beautiful lake view, fire pit, picnic table & easy access to a lake!
