Used soap in bathroom, used dishcloth in kitchen. The steel scourer under the sink had food in it. Pool was unusable. Staff were pleasant. Bed in second room very uncomfortable as you could feel the springs in the mattress. Would not recommend.

I can't comment on the staff because they were absent at the time of our short stay, but the room was ready and a call was placed to let us know where to find things, we let ourselves in and were comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean throughout. There was also a good sized fridge which was excellent.

Regular Visitors to Lakes

My husband and I frequent Lakes for our 2 day getaway fishing obsession. We usually stay closer to centre of Lakes so we can walk to the jetties so most of our stays have been along the esplanade. The Black Swan is the first accom we have used Lake Tyers side of Lakes and we were very happy with location and our accom - unfortuniately most of the time we had to drive to the places of interest. To our delight we found new eateries especially for our breakfast at the Funky Monkey which was brilliant. Thanks again Black Swan for an enjoyable stay.
