The proximity to the water made it easy to pull our boat up to shore and load up. Everything about the place was perfect and we're already starting to plan our trip for next year!"

"The staff was very polite but did not offer a welcome bag and on the last day we went down for breakfast and there was only toast. Everything was clean and wonderful. One of the best hotels in Owensboro."

"My stay at “The Courtyard by Marriott” was good. My room was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Employees were friendly and helpful. They definitely need softer pillows which were very flat and hard. My only other complaints would be that upon checking in I had paid ahead of time for 4 nights and was told they would hold an additional $80 for the 4 nights for incidentals. Why? Just wait until check out! No free breakfast and their snack area was very sparse with no bottled waters. I feel they could definitely up their game!"

The craftsmanship and history of the cabin have been beautifully preserved, while modern amenities make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The combination of rustic charm and thoughtful updates was perfect.One of my favorite parts was sitting on the porch and deck, taking in the views and enjoying the quiet Kentucky countryside. The historic tobacco barn, smokehouse, and farm buildings create an atmosphere that feels straight out of a history book. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and full of character.The location is ideal for anyone wanting to experience rural Kentucky while still being close to Owensboro, local bourbon attractions like Green River, and area restaurants and the top BBQ in the US. The hosts have created something truly special here. This was more than a place to stay. It was an experience. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about when we can come back.
