Tahoe City Cabin~Spectacular Lake View! Walk to Lake and City * WIFI*
Charming cabin with a stunning view of the lake and a convenient location.
The cabin is great for winter renters as it is close to Palisades and Homewood. And the national forest neighboring the house makes for amazing sledding.
During the summer you can start your day with a bang by going river rafting down Truckee River, then wind down with a nice barbecue lunch on the deck or walk down to Sunnyside for some dining on the lake. And don't forget all the hiking and biking there is to be done in the national forest and around the lake!
The master bedroom has 2 full sized beds and a connecting bathroom. The other bedrooms share a full bathroom; one room has a bunk bed and twin bed, and the other has a queen. Wake up in each room with a view of the sunrise over the lake. The kitchen has been recently renovated, and the connecting living room has a wood burning fireplace, tv, board games, and a great view

Our group of five very much enjoyed our stay. There was a stunning view of the lake from the deck with lots of seating. The beds were comfortable and I’ve never seen such a well stocked kitchen!
My family loved this place. It was clean, really well equipped, had a beautiful view, and a great layout. The pictures don't do it justice, especially in the living room area. I would definitely come back!
My family has been enjoying this terrific place for several years, making priceless memories. Thank you Chinh for providing such a wonderful experience!
What a wonderful house! You can see the lake from every window...so nice to just hang out and relax. Centrally located, and close to everything. Highly recommended!!
This was a wonderful property with a great view of the lake, comfortable seating inside and on the patio, and all the amenities of home. Check in was easy. The property was very clean and well maintained, and the location was perfect, close enough to Tahoe City to provide easy access to great restaurants and shopping yet in a rustic setting that gave the feeling of getting away from it all. We would definitely stay here again.
This house is located within walking distance of the beach and has a trail right next to it. It also has a gorgeous view of the lake from the balcony. The main open floor plan room is great for large groups. Chinh answered all my questions quickly and was a gracious host!
This cabin was so beautiful, the view of the lake was stunning. We were a very short drive to palisades resort and the host let us change the dates of our stay to accommodate our group of friends. Had an amazing time and would definitely stay again. The house was also equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals.
We loved our time at this Tahoe City home. The host was super helpful and responsive, and even accommodated early check in/late check out for us. It was just the right amount of space for 2 young families with kids, had an amazing view of the lake and was close to ski mountains. All in all a great stay. My only note for potential renters in the winter is that the driveway is steep and can get icy. Definitely took some management and were glad we had 4WD cars.
A great view of Lake Tahoe from the spacious deck. End cabin so very private. Clean, comfortable, and everything worked like it was supposed to. Check in and out steps were simple. Easy walk to William Kent public beach.
This cabin was set back in a great neighborhood with lake views. We enjoyed the proximity to Tahoe City for shops and yummy restaurants. It was a short 15 minute drive to Alpine Meadows for a few great ski sessions. We didn’t spend much time lounging in the cabin but enjoyed using the fireplace in the evening while winding down. The host was super responsive and everything in the home was easy to use. Overall a great trip
The property is clean and well kept - just what you hope for in a VRBO listing. Close to Lake and Sunnyside restaurant, with a great view of the lake from the deck, the house works really well for our family. The warm living room, large kitchen and dining room, and separate sleeping areas allowed us to spread out and relax. Being at the end of a quiet street, with national forest land adjacent, is a nice plus. All the things you need for a nice stay were provided, including wood for the wood burning stove and starters. Communication with the owner was excellent and timely. Thanks Chinn for the excellent stay!
The cabin was perfect for my three-generation family. The deck is truly amazing, and we spent a lot of time relaxing, barbecuing, and eating out there. Most of the nearby houses do not have a clear view of the lake like this cabin. The location feels surprisingly private and peaceful. The cabin is at the end of the street, so it's in a very natural setting with an unspoiled hillside on one side and a set-back neighbor on the other side. There are no stairs in the entry or inside, unlike many homes in the area. Highly recommended!
We were two families of four staying here, and it was perfect for us! The kitchen is very spacious for cooking our meals, and lots of space to hangout. You cannot beat the views either! Host sent excellent check-in/check-out instructions and was very response with our questions. Lots games too that we loved playing! The only down fall was the driveway. It’s very narrow and steep. Could be difficult to get a car in and out of if there is a lot of snow/ice. There is a plow service that came which was of very little help because our cars were in the driveway, but there are shovels that we used and logs to chock the cars. Overall, a fantastic place!
My husband and I brought our 3 young kids as well as my sister and her son to celebrate Christmas in the snowy mountains of Tahoe and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! The home was clean, cozy, extremely well stocked, (even had sleds available for us!), and absolutely gorgeous the view of the snow covered trees and mountains with the lake peeking through was a beautiful sight to see while drinking our coffee in the morning and hot cocoa in the evening. The home truly brought out the magic of Christmas for our family. It was exactly like the posting advertised. We are looking forward to making this our go to vacation rental when we head back to the area. It felt like a home away from home we even got to experience having to shovel snow out of the driveway to leave after an entire day of snow coming down, but being from the coast, this was a fun experience for us that we wouldn't otherwise have ever experienced! 10 out of 10.
We had a fantastic stay during our ski holiday. Location was ideal, views of the lake from the whole house were amazing. Kitchen was well appointed, spacious and comfortable house. All is all everything was perfect. Only issue one should be aware of in the winter: the driveway is a steep, sloping circle. With ice, its practically impossible to drive down or out after it ices over. You are not allowed to park on the street in the winter. That was our only issue (once it snowed and the driveway iced over). Not sure how the owner can fix that but its an awareness issue: you definitely need 4WD or snow tires.
