"There are precious few motels in Terrace Bay; same for good eating places. It's a tired little town on Lake Superior. The motel claimed it was renovated, but it much have been 20 or more years ago. I would bypass Terrace Bay next time driving east and make for Wawa, Ontario. The room was clean-ish, and definitely very dated."
