"Everyone was nice and helpful. My stay was enjoyed. But the food is horrible. Need more places to eat. The cafe fish and chips taste frozen box fish and very oily. The hamburger was dry needed seasoning. The server was wonderful but the food needs work. The dessert and pastry counter needs to be updated. The pastries look 5 day old not pleasing to the eye. But room and everything else great."

"Our stay La Jolla Shores Hotel was wonderful! The property and room was very clean and well-maintained. The restaurant and bar was great too! The hotel is right on the beach and there are some restaurants and shops up the main road. It’s about a mile from La Jolla Village so your dining options will be more limited. My best advice is to stop at a grocery store before you get to the hotel and stock up on water, snacks, etc. I believe all the rooms have a kitchenette and a nice sized mini fridge so you will save some money not having to buy from the convenience store on the Main Street. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This is our second time staying here and I will always stay here when visiting legoland! The breakfast is all you can eat and included in your stay. The breakfast is a step up from those cheap hotels you stay at but for free and when feeding kids, it’s a great deal The only hiccup I had this last time was I needed a trundle bed for my niece and they couldn’t accommodate it which was super strange. But the hotel and pool are amazing! I always do the valet parking and a valet named Sebastian was always kind and courteous and quick with the car recovery. The entertainment is so fun and honestly for what we pay it’s a great deal to stay here. Will be booking again here soon !"

"The room was very clean. I did not like that there really was no place to hang clothing in the in the bathroom and the hook for the bath towel was difficult to reach from the shower. The room decor was pleasant. However, there was a lot of traffic noise. The pool and garden area was lovely. The restaurant was very good, although I felt the breakfast prices were a little high. The staff there was great. I do not feel you should be charging $30 a day for parking. There were a lot of empty spaces in that lot. Convenient location to the La Jolla beaches. I like that you’re not located in a congested high-rise area. Your front desk staff was very friendly, and one woman knew a lot about the area however, several others were unfamiliar with local attractions, when questioned about directions on sites to see. I would stay at this site again."

Last orders at the pool for a drink around 3:30. Poor variety on menus too. Plenty of places to dine out though, so their loss. Tip: park across the street for much less than the valet price."
