  • Spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment located in the heart of downtown Lake Placid, perfect for enjoying the Adirondacks year-round.
    The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and complete cookware and utensils. The living room features a cozy electric fireplace, HDTV, and free Wi-Fi. Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms and the living area.
    All linens and towels are provided, along with added conveniences such as a hairdryer and iron with a compact ironing board.
    Step outside onto the private deck with patio furniture—ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Free parking is included.
    A large Hannaford supermarket is just steps away, along with Marshalls, a wine store, a popular Indian restaurant, and other shops in the plaza. Behind the building is direct access to the Adirondack Rail Trail, a scenic 34-mile multi-use path connecting Lake Placid and Saranac Lake—perfect for walking, biking (including e-bikes), and running in summer, and snowmobiling or cross-country skiing in winter. Enjoy the best of convenience and outdoor adventure right from your doorstep. Please note that some of our units are pet-friendly but only for 1 pet per unit.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
This property was rented to us while it was still under construction right outside our front door. The air-conditioning didn’t work, but we could not open the windows since there were no screens on them. Even after he put them on, we had to close the windows and blinds at night because so much light came in from the very bright light coming in from the adjacent strip mall parking lot. The owner came in to finish hanging drapes during the day while we were gone and was still there when we came back working. The sheets were substandard and scratchy. The toaster didn’t work. The shower was very small with nowhere to even put a bar of soap. There seem to be no insulation in the walls shared with adjoining units and we could hear voices and banging around.
