Perfect getaway close to town
Angela’s studio is a perfect getaway for a couple. It is extremely clean and has everything you need to be comfortable. I loved that there is even a small dining area. The location is also very nice - on a hill with views of Whiteface and also a short walk (5-10 minutes) to downtown Lake Placid. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to town. Angela is also a very responsive host and easy to communicate with. Hoping to be able to stay here again in spring or summer!!

Placid Ski trip
My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the studio. It was very clean, excellent host communication. The studio was as described in the listing. If you're tall, like my husband, watch your head in the kitchenette and bathroom. There are stairs to the studio with a railing and excellent lighting. Easily walkable to Main St. in LP. Overall great little studio!

She will charge you for a small kid even description says 3 sleep -2 beds, greedy person, she will check on you and wants you to pay even if you have a guest for few hours . I would never stay there.

As already mentioned, it is indicated in the property listing---in two separate places---that additional charges apply for an extra person wishing to stay. You would also have seen this if you indicated 3 travelers when you booked the space instead of two, which you failed to do. We always do our best to accommodate our guests' special requests and requirements, however, this is made impossible when a guest refuses to communicate or make clear what is required. Amazing VRBO
We had an excellent time in Lake Placid - thanks to the wonderful VRBO we stayed in. The host was excellent; responsive, friendly, and helpful with questions. In addition, the location could not be beat; mere blocks to main street, but nestled in among stately homes. It was an ideal setting. The unit was bright and sunny with a wall of windows (Yes!), clean, fully stocked (plush towels included), and roomy enough for a couple and then some. I would highly recommend this unit and we WILL stay here again. It was quite possibly the best VRBO we have ever stayed at - thank you Angela.

Loved this place! Super clean, great sunlight and view. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed (knowing it wasn't a full kitchen, we had plans to eat out often while there). Angela was super attention to your questions. You won't be disappointed with this property.

Cozy spot in a beautiful neighborhood
This garage apartment was perfectly sized for two guests and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the things I appreciated most was the peaceful location. I barely heard it from the main house or the. The bed was a dream, plush and supportive guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. The in-unit washer and dryer were a real plus!

So cozy, so clean!
This cozy and stylish apartment was perfection for my best friend and I to have a girls weekend away. It’s so close to downtown LP, and it has to be one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed at in my life. Communication with the host was amazing and I highly recommend anyone staying there. It has everything you need for a restful, quiet, and convenient stay in LP!

My husband, Michael and I have been coming to Lake Placid for many years.We usually bring our dog. For first time in over 12 years, we couldn’t bring our beloved dog, Manny. He died on 9/11 and it’s been very difficult. To help us heal, we decided to make our annual trip, return to many of our favorite hikes and places we’ve been together. The studio we rented was perfectly located, clean, and a perfect place to relax after our hikes.

Nice Short Visit
Angela was a very nice host, and we had a couple of nice nights at her place. The location was close to everything, and the place had everything we needed. We had a minor issue getting the TV to work (Wi-Fi), but Angela allowed us to check out later to make up for it. We hope to make it back someday!

So clean!
Extremely clean property. Perfect for 2 people. We had an obscure issue arise and the communication was fast, friendly, and solution was provided quickly. Very nice hosts! Comfortable bed and cleanliness all around! Only note would be that due to sloped roof line in bathroom and kitchenette area, I would give warning to any taller guests. Nice neighborhood on the edge of town, up a hill that gets you into the middle of things with a short, pleasant walk! Thank you!

Perfect Room for Lake Placid Long Weekend
The apartment, property and the host were wonderful. Easy check in process. The large studio apartment in a private neighborhood was perfect for our long weekend in Lake Placid. Easy 8-10 minute walk to all shops on Main St. Studio apartment was spotless, modern design and private parking right outside the door. Angela was attentive and great host. Stay here!

Stayed in this unit over the Ironman Lake Placid weekend. Extremely clean and comfortable - everything as advertised, Located in a quiet residential neighborhood above Mirror Lake. And so if you like to be in the middle of all the hubbub, this may not be for you. But if like me, and you prefer to enjoy the fun on Main Street within a short walk, but rest and relax in peace, this fits the bill perfectly.

Perfect Spot in Lake Placid
The property is beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained. It's on a quiet side street that's just a few minutes walk to Main Street. All the sight seeing and hiking/skiing spots of Lake Placid are a short walk or drive. I highly recommend for a solo or couple getaway.

My husband and I were lucky enough to rent Angela’s place for my husbands birthday weekend. Our stay was wonderful! I cannot say enough about how lovely this apartment was. Very private with a beautiful view of the mountains. The apartment is spotless. Very comfortable bed. Well stocked kitchen. Everything from the bath towels to the appliances seemed to be brand new! Every detail was thought of when organizing this beautiful space. Angela was a pleasure to deal with. She was available for any question we had. I will definitely be back to stay on our next trip to Lake Placid. Thank you Angela for a wonderful mini vacation!!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. You can't ask for a cleaner more comfortable place to stay that is walking distance to town. The apartment style room is fully equipped and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. It has beautiful views of the mountains as well. A private entrance on the side of the apt. also makes it quite easy when coming and going. We will definitely return!
