The hotel is older. But maintained fairly well. Room and bath are updated, clean and comfortable carpet is older but clean Staff is pleasant. They allow dogs to stay in room for fee. Indoor pool, and a short drive to town, tupper lake or lake placid. Breakfast offered coffee, juice, cereal, waffles, bagel, fruit and yogurt which was fine for us.

A great base for outdoor activities around Saranac Lake. Spacious room at a great price. Nice, friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Good parking with easy access to the building. Not fancy, but has everything we were looking for. Our go-to lodging when we’re in the area.

It had a heated pool but at the time we went there were many young people enjoying it. Older building. No elevator to second floor. Ice machine and laundry/washer/dryer available on floor. Vending machines down by the office. Perfect location in town close to all the trails, and scenic walks. Individual heat pump in each room.
