"This place is a gem, beautiful property, great hike, good food, friendly staff. Only downside is an insane policy that you aren't allowed to use the hot tub. You need to book it 2 hours in advance and it costs approx $15CAD per person. As a result it sits there unused in this amazing location or would be such a massive asset of the ownership didn't ruin it by having it be the only per per use hot tub in Colombia. Honestly even with this it's probably worth it. If they fixed that issue this would be one of the nicest places I stayed on my whole trip."

"The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel was clean and well kept. THe rooms had great views and beds were very comfortable. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling that area."

"La Herradura , un lugar perfecto para descansar , integrarse con la naturaleza, su staff es muy amable , servicial , siempre atentos a lo que necesitas , Don Edwin un senor con una simpatia , sentido de servicio , amabilidad y carisma inigualables , lo mismo su esposa que se preocupa por los alimentos que no solo son deliciosos, pero tambien presentados, con muy buen gusto en su decoracion, cuidando cada detalle. "The staff were exceptionally helpful and helped us make the most of our stay in Salento. The property was quiet, clean, and beautiful. The hotel can connect you with a taxi service that can get you into town for COP 25,000. The breakfast was large and delicious. I would definitely stay here again."
