Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 14 gathered for 4- day Christmas holiday. There was plenty of space for the 6 children to run, play, explore, or stay indoors in the game room! The 8 adults enjoyed games indoors and out, and we all took a short hike. The info indicated a short hike to the lake, but the only road we saw was private and we were turned away. We had a rude awakening Christmas morning when the doorbell kept going off and then we smelled an electrical smell. The staff was very prompt and helpful. You can't plan for those things, it did not deter from our celebration!! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and appliances! The cottage had a squeaky fan and an uncomfortable bed, but we still enjoyed having a place to gather together and enjoy the holiday. It rained of and on so the covered porch was nice. Town was about 25 minutes away... we enjoyed a movie and dinner! We would rent again! Oh, and several enjoyed the hot tub!!"

"Our group of three families had an incredible stay last week! The home is very large and accommodated everyone comfortably. The host was very responsive and provided helpful check in and check out information before hand and made the entire process seamless.Even though the rain and cold weather kept us from using the swimming pool and two hot tubs, they looked amazing and would be a huge highlight in better weather.Thankfully, the house is so well-equipped that we had plenty to do inside. The game room was a massive hit with the ping pong table, card table, and arcade machines. When the rain let up, we were able to jump out and enjoy the basketball court and frisbee golf.The house was clean and very well-prepared for a large group. We were impressed by the abundance of towels and toiletries. The kitchen was a dream to cook in because the pantry was so well-stocked with spices, oils, and other essentials.This is a fantastic home for large groups and we highly recommend it!"

"Our stay was fantastic! The home was spotless, everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The view was the best we have ever had! LOVE having our own private dock. The furniture was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the location was perfect—could not ask for a better location for the lake.n The host went above and beyond with clear communication and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home.
