The cottage has been carefully restored to suit the era but still has all the modern facilities to make your stay easy. "My second stay at Kelpie Cottage and I just adore it. So quiet away from the main town of Mt Gambier but close enough for convenience. Everything that could be needed, plus more is provided by the hosts. Easy check-in, gorgeous location and I just love the fact that they are a rescue for Maremma Sheepdogs. Very comfortable cabin with very generous provisions which was appreciated for breakfast.I can’t speak any higher of the hosts, they love what they do and it shows. Thank you again, I’ll be back! "

"We had a great time staying in the Moon Lover tent with our 6 & 7yo. Everything was perfect! The kids loved having a fire, sleeping in the tent together and walking/running the 3.5km loop in the bush😊 It’s a great weekend retreat (we drove from Adelaide for the night)."
