"The room was large with an amazing comfortable bed, beautiful shower and plenty of space for your belongings with a breakfast bar and fridge. The spa area with the pool was a bit far for our hip problems. Jess at the front desk was very friendly and gave us some tips for exploring the area from the Capital down Western Ave to the lakes and ponds in Winthrop."

"Was extremely pleased with everything about the property, the cleanliness and our reception by Mary and family. We were somewhat prepared about what we would find as we watched Maine Cabin Masters, season 9 episode 1 where we watch the restoration of the property. But seeing it in person was amazing. Words actually fail me. Mary even went so far as to have a fresh baked apple pie (and a bottle of wine) waiting on us when we arrived. Anyone staying in this area should visit the Apple Shed Kitchen and Bakery in Readfield. Everything we tried there was beyond description. Glad we don’t live closer because I would drive a hundred miles to go there. About the home. Everything was ready to move in. The kitchen was well stocked and she even had the makings for S’mores. Every dish, pot or pan you could need or want was there. Heating was no problem with an HVAC. Supplemental heating with an antique pot belly stove added a nice romantic tone. Games and DVD’s (100?) were plentiful. It was a comfortable home. Fishing gear was available as were canoes and a paddle boat. The fishing was good and listening to the loons were fantastic The outside fireplace was large and seasoned wood abundantBottom line, we highly recommend this property for your consideration. We also hope to be back in the future, but will fly in. Getting there, driving around, and heading back to Western North Carolina was about 3500 miles. But it was well worth."

"My husband, our best friends, and I just returned from a relaxing and fabulous 5 days at Fish Upon a Star cabins Where to begin.......first of all, the cabin is adorable: a spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with every amenity you might need and then some! The cabin was immaculately clean, attractively decorated, with a gorgeous view of East Pond. The cabin is cozy, with a gas fireplace, to such an extent that we just wanted to hang out and relax in the cabin doing puzzles, reading, knitting, going for walks or just sitting around on the comfortable sofas and chatting. Amy was very quick to respond to my text about check in and made sure she knew she was available should we need anything......we didn't. We are already thinking about next year and will make our reservation today! You won't regret choosing this cabin as your destination spot. We sure didn't!"

"Our stay at the Adirondack Lodge could not have been more magical! We were blown away by the beauty of Ingham Pond from dawn until dusk and the bald eagles and loons kept us company our entire stay.The home itself was perfect - extremely clean, comfortable, and spacious yes cozy. Roger was an extremely attentive host and replied swiftly to messages or questions both ahead of and during our stay. We will absolutely be coming back to stay and thank Roger and Elaine for being such kind and generous hosts."

"It was the most serene place that I have been to in a long time. The cabin was cozy, and everything that could have been thought of to make our stay more comfortable was there. We loved the little statues hidden throughout the cabin, and we even left a memento of our own. I loved being able to wake up to the call of loons, and go to sleep to the hoot of owls. All in all, I will absolutely be booking this for another visit, hopefully longer the next time. Thank you so much Lou-Anne and Rick!"
