  • This spacious log cabin delivers the perfect Adirondacks setting for your family getaway or quiet forest retreat.
    3,000 sf of living space, wooded lot, in a private community, but still only minutes away from Adirondack recreation, shopping and sightseeing.

    Summer Playground - Lake Forest, stocked for fishing and with a private beach for swimming, and hiking trails are just a short walk from your front door. By car, you're minutes from Lake George Village, mini golf, and The Great Escape.

    Winter Wonderland - minutes away from downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and gorgeous snowy scenes all around. Outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace on property are just the thing to weaken winter's chill.

    Cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace in the great room, and spacious dining area that opens to a large kitchen with contemporary appliances.
    Large deck and grill, fire pit, perfect for entertaining or just relaxing.
    Central air conditioning, wifi and 4 television sets. Land-line phone (cell reception can be spotty - but maybe that's what you're looking for!)
    6 Bedrooms, 4 full baths.
    Heated in-ground swimming pool open from May 1 - Oct 1.

    Every bed is made up with fresh linens before each stay, but guests are welcome to bring their own linen and pillows. If you will be bringing your own linens, we would appreciate if you'd let us know in advance.

    PLEASE NOTE - In June, July and August we only accept 7-day bookings, from Sunday to Sunday. At all other times, we appreciate a 3-day minimum stay.

    Cancellation policy is as noted, but please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.

A beautiful home, and a wonderful place for our family vacation. The adults and children all loved it. It was close to Lake George, the Great Escape amusement park, and all the things that make make for a fun-filled week.

Our few days in this cozy cabin were not enough. The cabin was comfortable and provided all that we needed. Wishing we had more time to sit and enjoy this cabin. The host is easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Great stay

This beautiful home was great for our family of 14!!! So much space and room for 6 adults and 8 children to run around and play. Pool is on the smaller size but that didn’t stop the kids from still having a blast! The home is located in the best area!!! Close to EVERYTHING lake George has to offer. Would highly recommend this home and can’t wait to come back and stay.

This place is beautiful on the outside with lovely plants and flowers, nice pool and fire pit area. The inside was beautifully furnished in a "cabiny" style, which we loved. It is in a forested area, a little removed from the hustle of Lake George. We had so much fun doing things in the area, yet it was relaxing and refreshing to be there.

Wonderful property

This is a beautiful property inside and out. The living room was large with several comfortable seating options. My favorite part, however, is the outside! There are both covered and uncovered decks and is the best place to sit and relax to enjoy the peaceful property. The property is also only minutes to Lake George with tons of shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Modern cabin and very clean

Two large families stayed comfortably in this lovely private cabin. Large outdoor decks, comfortable living room and huge kitchen offered plenty of space. Of note, the house was VERY clean, and bathrooms and kitchen are modern, stocked with everything you could need. The 3 downstairs bedrooms are all “connected” which worked fine our families. The three upstairs bedrooms were large and very private. Coordination for booking and check in was very prompt and helpful. Highly recommend.

Peace and tranquility

What a wonderful property with wonderful hosts. Very attentive to any small need we had. Responsive to any questions we had. The property was clean, well maintained and beautiful. The pool is a huge benefit that the kids loved. The house is cozy without being cramped with more than enough space for the 9 of us. The fire pit was a huge hit every single night. The small pond was an added bonus. If you’re looking for a little peace and tranquility I highly suggest you give this place a try.

Perfect Getaway

This property has everything you need, just bring your clothes, toiletries, and food. It is very clean and if you need the homeowner, they respond right away. This year they added more heated sidewalk mats which made getting our 95 year old mom from the car to the house a breeze. It’s a 40 minute drive to Gore Mt for skiers and a short 10 minute drive to Lake George for the nonskiers. I highly reccomend the 2 minute drive to Nettle Meadow Farm Cheese and Hitching Post and Tavern.

Great cabin in the woods

We got this vrbo to stay in while attending my son's wedding nearby. So we had family stay. QUIET in the woods, even tho its only 5 miles from the busy lake resort. Plenty of room, plenty of parking, great kitchen, great outdoor space/porch, the pool was nice (even though we didn't use it). Even laundry available, though we did not need it. Wifi was great and very necessary, as cell service not very good (at least with T-Mobile!). It was actually very nostalgic for me, as a kid I used to stay in an uncles lake-side cabin in the summer - the woody cabin smell was exactly the same took me back instantly to those great memories. Would stay again.

Multi-generational family vacation

Great family vacation in a quiet neighborhood. Cleanliness of the property was first rate. Having a pool for our grandkids was a big plus. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 11. There are some improvements and TLC that could be made. I have made these suggestions to the owner. The beds are comfortable but very squeaky. Also the cabin could use some insulation or sound proofing as first floor sleepers could hear most of the second floor sleepers and vice versa. If some of the suggestions offered to the owner were made, we would definitely stay hear again.

Perfect House Near Lake George

Absolutely wonderful house and property! There were three families staying: 6 adults and 6 kids ages 8-2. The little pool in front kept them busy constantly. If the weather was iffy in town they loved coming in and out of the pool. The small pond was also great for watching the frogs hop by. The Wi-Fi wars great! We had no trouble watching the TVs, movies, and connecting to the internet. We enjoyed the fire pit at night for s’mores and cooking on the grill. The house inside is beautiful with plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. It was truly a wonderful experience.

We totally enjoyed the cabin; it was in the perfect location that we needed to be in. The host was very responsive to our questions when we had them. We provided some feed back to them regarding some points of information that would be very helpful when guests need it. While it was too inviting, we did not use the pool, but we cleaned it of leaves daily. There were dead frogs in the skimmer that needed attention. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to cook our meals The rooms were tidy and neat but not really clean. Attention is needed in the bathrooms and dusting was needed in some of the bedrooms. The vents in the rooms were in need of a wiping down, the oven needs to be cleaned, and all the tile floors really need a good vacuuming. We tried to vacuum but the vacuum canaster was not emptied and needed to be cleaned in the filter area as it was not picking up.We tidied up as the hosts requested and hope it was to their satisfaction. I would definitely rent this cabin again as it had a warm and cozy feeling to it. Our group enjoyed our time there.

My sons 2nd getaway bday

This house was great. Sometimes when you read ads people say things that make it seem great but this house is what it said. My family are all clean freaks I rented this house to have my parents my in laws and siblings for my son’s 2nd birthday getaway, and it was everything it said. I couldn’t believe how clean the house was from stepping in on the first day. We treated the home like our own sneakers off etc. because we actually felt like at home minus all the noise from the city 😂. The pool was great getting to relax peacefully and quiet , watching the ducks and humming birds was a cool experience, we don’t have real wild life like that where I live. The hosts were great and got back to us right away because I couldn’t figure out the tv for my son, Larry answered right away and told me what to do. My wife loved it so much she was talking to her parents about buying a place out there but until that happens if I agree one day I would definitely be staying here again because it made me like I said feel like I was home without the noise.
