"Great house with lots of space! Have to dust off some spider webs and they could fix a few things around the house. But our group had the best time!! Great fire pit, pool has a heater, and lots to do. "

"We enjoyed our trip to this tranquil lake for a New Year getaway. The property is a great location in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. We enjoyed fishing, campfires and playing ping pong. The views of the sunset are spectacular.We also found a great lakeside restaurant and enjoyed walks at Lake Livingston State Park. So much to do outdoors The kitchen was abundant stocked with everything you need to do some serious cooking should you choose. Missing everyday spices and cooking oils however. There is a smart TV in every room which made it nice to stream some family movies during downtime. I did reach out the management however that all the indoor and outdoor seating needs immediate attention. I would like to return in the summer to take advantage of the pool and lake activities soon. "

"This is such a unique property! It was very clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked and perfect for cooking large meals. Nice large dining table too. Great views of the lake. "

"The place was filthy. We even found a bed bug in the kitchen linen drawer. The sheets had hairs in them and smelled bad. The toilet bowl was dirty and the floor smelled like urine in the bathroom. The kitchen appliances were dirty on the outside, like they had never been cleaned or even wiped down. It could be a cute place to stay if it was exterminated and thoroughly cleaned. We couldn't stand to stay there especially with bed bugs and so we came home and had to thoroughly clean our clothes and bag up and throw away our travel bags. My husband even had to spray instecticide in our car to make sure we don't have bed bugs at home or in our car. This experience ruined our trip. We waisted money and time."

"Property owner didn't know we were staying at the property since she "hadn't communicated with VRBO in a long time". The cabin had not been cleaned. The caretaker changed the bedding but that was all. My husband cleaned the bathroom. We were told the water was under a boil restriction. I wonder if it's always under a boil restriction. We were provided a few bottles of water. The window air unit dripped so we had to keep a bowl under it. The location was nice with only the caretaker house near."

"The house was not ready for check in until after 9pm. Could not use the beach or the boat dock.. Nothing was wrong with the house and the host was extremely nice!"
