The Castle: A Luxury Compound Retreat

  • The Castle is one large, Single Family Home with two attached Casitas and one large section of the main house able to be separated into an apartment, or adjoined by opening a double-sided locking door. All 4 units can be enjoyed together or sectioned off for privacy while being fully self contained with each having their own laundry room, kitchen and bath.

    Spa can be heated with advance notice and put onto a timer. Fee for spa heat is $35 per day or per 2-hour block.
    Pool can be heated with outdoor temps of 60 degrees for $100 per day with 3 day minimum. Takes a full day to heat so need 24 hour notice to start heating.

    “The Castle,” as affectionately known by the locals, stands as an iconic property perched atop a hill. Built by the original owner of Havasu landmark, Zeeman’s gun shop, for his beloved Queen, this house exudes an enchanting charm. Its block walls and two round turrets rooftop earn it the nickname. Since being acquired by your Host, it has undergone full renovation to accommodate guests during extraordinary group vacations, sleeping up to 21 happy guest. Waiver required for all adult guests.

Load and start the dishwasher

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Trash can be taken out to cans. Checking out on Monday/trash day take the cans to the curb Sunday night or early Monday. Return items to the unit they came from. Return game table to ping pong.

Turn all lights off. Set two main house thermostats and all mini splits to AC 82. Close blinds and drapes. Make sure ovens and irons are off

Take down all umbrellas and tie, return to space by pool equipment. Return patio furniture where found. Clean BBQs or send $100 cleaning fee.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Pool hours are 7am-10pm. No running by pool, diving, sitting on coping or outer edge of spa, climbing on rocks, unattended children near pool.

Do not leave umbrellas up in the wind, or when you leave.Broken umbrellas are $75 each. No loud noise after 10. Waiver required by all occupants.

Pick up after pets. Pet poop pick up fee is $100. No Smoking indoors. Cigarette butt clean up is $100 fee.

Amazing Stay – Perfect for Our Group!

We had an incredible time at this beautiful and spacious home! The pool was a huge hit with both kids and adults — clean, warm, and perfect for relaxing or playing all day.Plenty of room for our group to spread out, with comfortable beds and multiple gathering spaces. The kitchens had everything we needed, and the outdoor area was perfect for meals and hanging out.Communication with the host was smooth and easy. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a relaxing, fun getaway with family or friends. We’d love to come back!

Cool, unique place! Worked well for 13 adults (including 6 couples). We all really enjoyed the available games and the pool and that everyone had their own space and could spread out. Only issue was with the mini-split ACs in two of the rooms—the host responded quickly to this and it wasn’t too much of a drag, although those two rooms were warmer than desired. It is a bit of a drive away from the lake and most restaurants, but with all there is to do on the property and all the kitchens on site, it’s no biggie! Overall, would stay here again!
