We met up with extended family for a reunion, and this was a perfect venue for such an event. It's close to lakes and hiking trails, as well as theme parks and other tourist-y type stuff. And there are lots of games and activities at the property to stay entertained, too! Wendy and Anthony made the stay really special by making us feel like a part of their community. They are model hosts! My family has an irreverent sense of humor that I hope didn't obscure how much we enjoyed our stay.
Convenient location. We went skiing to Gore. VRBO listed the property as being located 8 miles from the resort. Not accurate. It turned out to be significantly more. The bedroom was nice and cozy. It took a long time to heat the rooms since it was dead cold when we arrived. Very nice owners. We were able to check in early. Overall we were not impressed but not disappointed either.
The cabin was perfect for me and my family. The shower stall is a bit small, but the overall stay at the cabin was pleasant and the surrounding property was beautiful.
Great vacation experience. The location is in a perfect location for short walk to the lake, or quick drive to local attractions. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived, and Wendy and Anthony were the best hosts. They recommended areas to visit, had plenty of family activities on site, and campfires every night. My kids were asking to stay longer.
Very clean property, with owners constantly trying to improve the stay. Very attentive and professional owners. I stayed with teenage sons. Would rent again.
I can't say enough about our stay at Wendy and Anthony's property. From our first communication to check out, they were amazingly responsive to our needs. This was a family vacation for myself, my 30 year old daughter, my 80 year old father, and my physically disabled sister. When we arrived at the property, Wendy let us at the door with the key to the cottage and several brochures for local activities. We got to the cottage to find that my sister's wheelchair wouldn't fit through the bathroom door. We asked if it would be ok if we removed the door for our stay. The next thing we knew, Anthony was at the cottage removing the door and hanging a curtain over the door way for us. Who does that? Someone who wants to keep their guests happy, that's who. We rented kayaks and they helped us take the to the lake, get them in the water, and even made sure we were safely in them before they left. They offered to give us their cell number in case we got in trouble while on the lake. The cottage was exactly as described. The pool was beautiful. The game room was well stocked with q lot of fun outdoor games as well as board games for rainy days. The location was perfect. Five minutes from town with grocery stores, pharmacy, and restaurants. 20 minutes from Lake George c60 minutes from Lake Placid. I cannot say enough good things above our trip and stay. I wish I didn't have next year's vacation planned already, because I'd love to be able to go back and spend two weeks at Twin Pines Lodge.
Cute little property, great space upstairs for the kids to hang out.

hi Wendy
We enjoyed our selves for the most partl
there is no light above the sink in cabin and maybe a light would help to see dirt on dishes
Also up stairs the sliding glass dr is off and doesn’t shut tight
We also think we left a white blanket/ comforter on bed downstairs
with all the places Cindy look at we brought sheets as well as blankets
anyway we may stay another time

Everything about twin pine lodges was amazing! We all had a blast and the kids can’t wait to go back next year! The owners are so friendly ans helpful..we loved it there!
What a peaceful time! Very home-like feeling. It felt like we knew the owners already and we were having a big reunion. Very pleasant and the fact we could bring our dog help us relax even more not having to worry about her.
