"This was a beautiful cozy place. So Lovely decorated. With little kitchenette amenities enough to fix simple breakfast/ lunch. A table to sit at. Nice clean modern bathroom. Nice entrance. Private. Close to hikes (25-30 minutes from LOJ trail head parking. It allowed me to bring my dog. It was perfect for what we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions. I’d stay again without hesitation. "
"Beautifully renovated modern mountain-style hotel. Plenty of room and everything was new and clean. A great option to stay at. We'd definitely stay here again."

"This particular hotel is the absolute perfect place for rest and relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Placid. You might have to travel 10 minutes or so for a place to eat but well worth the trip."
"The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies and utensils that made the stay easier. The location was perfect for a 15-20 minute walk to restaurants and shops. It was also a short drive to by trials to walk and hike. We enjoyed our stay!"
Historic Cabin Retreat - In Town and On the Lake! Minutes to Rail Trail
10/10 Excellent
"Cabin is awesome, well appointed and comfortable. High ceiling makes it feel roomy even though it is small, and ingenious layout has separate spaces for everything, which is nice if you want to rise early to see sunrise but your partner wants to sleep in. I loved it so much. Really dark when I arrived—if the exterior light had been on when I got there and maybe one interior one, this would have been a flawless stay. Owner kindly helped me get sorted, but I felt bad bugging her so late. Would definitely stay again. Nice mixture of in-town with a lake view. "
