"It was a cozy private room with a vintage feel. The bed was comfortable and the lighting was bright. In fact a dimmer or lamp would have been nice, but not a big deal. There was no soap in the bathroom but I had my own, and I am sure it weighs have been remedied if I've had asked. Better than make higher priced places I have stayed."

"The room showed its age. The room was acceptable, but could have been cleaner. Obvious water conservation plan in place as both sink and shower had spray nozzles that restricted water flow. Overall the inside and outside condition, motel personnel interactions, and rest achieved was a bargain. I will be back…"

"The housekeeper, Michelle, greeted me when I arrived. I never saw the host. Michelle was welcoming and pleasant. My cabin was pleasant and decorated nicely.A gentleman met me at the entrance to the main lodge building and informed me that he had rented the main lodge buyilding for the week. It was okay if I wanted to take a quick look around the lodge but it was off limits to me for the week. That also included the lodge patio, lawn chairs, fire pit, and swing.I didn't understand why the maintainance person was using the sprinkler system during the day when guests would be using the lawn, picnic tables and the cabin's patio and patio furniture. I was run off from the picnic table while I was having my lunch - twice and the sprinkler did a nice job of watering my patio and patio chairs. I would suggest that the watering should be done during the night when most guests would be inside the lodge or their cabins.I would still recomment Point Comfort Lodge. It was quiet, comfortable and it was comvenient to put my kayak in the lake on the property without having to go to a boat launch area."
