"Easily one of the best rental properties I ever stayed in! This house is perfect for a large group, there are plenty of rooms and areas for people to have their own space if they need it! All the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and everything in the house is very modern. The pool and jacuzzi were incredible and you just can’t beat the views !!! Crystal-Mae was also very timely with her communication and accommodated all of our requests :) Would highly recommend this property."

"decent place for a short stay, nice pool and deck area above. Breakfast is awesome, so that's what you're going for really. Only real negative for me was there was some trash in the underground parking area that someone should of and could of picked up but that was fairly minor and a small amount of stuff, 95% of parking area was clean. And hey, restaurants just 100 yards away and a Boot Barn!! hahaha. Staff was nice and accommodative. Just be aware there are kids swimming and having fun in the pool during the day. That didn't bother me at all though."

"Overall, we had a good stay, and I want to start by saying that the staff here were absolutely wonderful. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and they were definitely one of the highlights of the property. The beds were comfortable, the bedding was clean, and we had plenty of fresh, clean towels, which are always some of the most important things to me when staying at a hotel. That being said, the property itself is definitely showing its age and feels like it has fallen into a bit of complacent disrepair. The rooms are quite dated, and while they were generally clean, some of the finishes have simply reached the point where they are difficult to make feel clean anymore. The carpet was probably the biggest issue for us — neither of us felt particularly comfortable walking around the room in bare feet. I really think this property would benefit from some investment in updating the rooms, even if it were done gradually. Replacing the carpeting with laminate or another durable hard-surface flooring would be a fantastic place to start. It would immediately modernize the rooms, be much easier to clean and maintain, and avoid the worn appearance that older hotel carpeting inevitably develops. I also felt the price was a little high considering the current condition and age of the property. With some relatively straightforward updates, I think the value would feel much more appropriate. All of that said, I would actually stay here again."

"We had a top floor ocean view room at the front corner, the view was amazing. The rooms are clean, bedding could have been updated, there is no extras in the kitchen as in dish soap, paper towels, silverware, etc. but otherwise was fine. Overall a great stay with a good location. The train and traffic was mentioned in other reviews, there are trains and traffic but didn't seem to bother us, heard once in the night the train and also got used to them, you are on a highway but the beach and listening to the waves made up for any other noise."

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The staff was exceptionally warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. We especially appreciated the convenience of having parking directly behind our room. Our accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with both a front and back entrance that added an extra level of privacy and convenience. One of our favorite features was our private little patio with a chiminea. It created such a peaceful and charming atmosphere—the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the evening. It was those special touches that made our stay feel truly memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our visit and were genuinely sad to leave. This is definitely a place we look forward to returning to, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming, and exceptional stay. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Excellent room, good location, clarify parking charges ahead. Didn't hear about that until chkout. Would definitely stay with Sonesta again if they get the morning settled. Lighting and A/c very easy to adjust Really good shower head Hot water easy to adjust Larger than average tv. Didn't see USB charging but could be there I had blocks with me so just plugged into outlets. Only French Vanilla coffee and decaf in my room. Breakfast was cold items only may have been temporary. Walked to Carl's Jr. for breakfast, McD also across Lake Forest"
