Great stay on Lake Elmore. We could not have asked for better weather and lake access. The housewas exceptional and had everything we needed for a fun week with our family.
Stayed here with my family several tomes ove rthe years. The location is perfect and the home is clean, comfortble and spacious. Property is well maintained wih great ammenities.
We had a lovely stay in Elmore. The house was clean and very comfortable. Would recommend and stay again!
Piece of advice….screenshot the directions and code before you get there because there is no service
Unbelievable stay! Beautiful area and well kept by the owner!Very clean! 10/10 recommend. It's a bit far from Stowe, but not terrible by any means and definitely not uncomfortable to drive it.
We really enjoyed our stay. Paul's lake Elmore location is perfect for a couples quiet getaway or a time at the lake with the whole family. We arrived to a spotless house with a captivating view.
Directions were clear, check in and check out were made easy by Paul. Would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful lakeside destination surrounded by beautiful mountains and pleasant people.
The house was situated in a lake with Mountain View’s. We came for skiing and enjoying the winter which did not disappoint. The hot tub was a necessity after skiing. Highly recommended!
We are returning visitors to this lakehouse as it leaves nothing to be desired! The house is welcoming, linens are fresh and crisp, the kitchen is fully stocked and the view from the porch is heaven.
We really enjoyed the fireworks over the lake, the parade of boats and our stay over the week of 4th of July.
The property was exactly as described, it was the most well
equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a short term rental.
The canoe/kayaks were excellent and there were also life
jackets and floaties that were unexpected and welcomed.
The lake is very quiet and my daughters had a great time
fishing off the dock. We would definitely go back and stay again. My family thoroughly enjoyed everything! So relaxing.
Without question, this is my favorite place to stay when visiting friends and family in the Elmore/Morrisville area. Now back home, I’m already missing that glorious morning lake view. I love the kayaking opportunity, (the loon family was a delight). The home is so very comfortable with indoor and outdoor spaces to more than satisfy. Without wishing my time away, I’m already looking forward to ‘next time’!
We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The view from the kitchen and living room is beautiful. The kids enjoyed the kayaks, foosball table and the Elmore Sugar house ice cream which is close by. We found the hot tub rules somewhat intimidating, so we tried to minimize our use in the tub, but we still had lots of fun and hope to come back.
We had a great time at Paul’s house, which had everything we needed. The neighbourhood was great, very quiet, and only a ~35 min drive to Stowe ski resort. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of Stowe and closer to nature. The hot tub was excellent for unwinding after the slopes. Paul provided everything we needed to maintain it, including detailed instructions.
This is a great rental location and house if stating in the area. It is well stocked and very comfortable. Excellent communication with property manager re any questions. We did not use hot tub. So cannot comment on that. It is a beautiful area.
Our family of 5, including three teens, had a perfect week in this house. The location on the lake and near the State Park couldn’t be better. The kids loved walking down the road to the Elmore Store daily. We also loved being near Morrrisville and Stowe, just a short distance away. The house was comfortable and appointed with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed fishing off the new dock, and paddling the kayak’s and canoe. We definitely hope to return to this special place!
We really enjoyed our stay at Paul's on Lake Elmore! We were celebrating two birthdays in the family over the weekend and the lake house was the perfect relaxing getaway that allowed us to spend quality time together. The view was breathtaking and the salt water hot tub was just what the Dr ordered. Paul was very responsive to any questions we had and the house was immaculate. I'm already looking to book a getaway there during the warmer months! Thank you Paul for allowing this family of 4 to enjoy your little slice of heaven on Earth.
As soon as you walk in the front door you get the feeling it’s going to be a great stay! Besides having Lake Elmore right outside the back door, the house is super clean, comfortable and has every amenity necessary for a relaxed and carefree vacation. During the day we loved sitting on the back deck watching for the loons and listening to the birds sing. At night we gazed at the stars from the hot tub, even saw a few shooting stars! The week went by too fast so we hope there’s an opportunity for us to come back for another stay!
Wonderful stay at a beautiful location on the lake
My friends and I stayed at the property for a ski trip where we wanted to ski multiple mountains. It was one of the only properties that met our ideal needs (location from multiple prime ski mountains, hot tub, sleeps 4+, affordable pricing). Everything came as advertised. On top of that the location on the lake with the views were a very nice cherry on top. Paul, the owner, was very accessible and did everything he could to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Will be considering it again for future trips and perhaps in the summer as well!
Being able to stay in this home on Lake Elmore in Vermont is my favorite way to vacation. The location on the lake is exquisite; watching the fog rise from the lake each morning is just so beautifully peaceful. Friendly village, terrific General Store, maple creemees at Sugarhouse, welcoming church, fun hike up the mountain, hot tub and kayaks, what is not to love?! Charm and practicality, the home exudes both. I love it and cannot wait to return.
We had a great time. The kids had so much fun. There is plenty to do like exploring the lake soaking in the hot tub, playing games, coloring and swimming. My husband enjoyed some fishing too. I did not hear once that the kids were bored. It was quiet at night and we enjoyed listening to the Loons as well as watching the Loons and the Geese on the lake. The house was clean and exactly what we were expecting. We look forward to staying again.
Our stay was nothing short of perfect! We came to enjoy the area and experience snow, which was especially exciting for one of us seeing it for the first time. The home was cozy, well equipped, and exactly what we were looking for. Paul, our house was absolutely fabulous. He went above and beyond to ensure our experience was smooth, especially with all the snow we received. He made sure the road and driveway were always clear, which made a huge difference in our stay. His hospitality and tentative truly set this experience apart. If you’re looking for a beautiful peaceful getaway with a thoughtful and accommodating house. This is a place to be. We can’t recommend it enough and would love to return in the future!
We were a family group of four women (2 women in their 50’s and 2 in their late 70’s). We had a lovely stay here. The house was very clean and comfortable, and beautifully located right on the water. Taking in the gorgeous sunrise from the back deck was a real highlight. The kitchen had all the basics for cooking, and there’s a keurig. Couch and beds were clean and comfortable. There’s WiFi and a closet full of games. Very conveniently located just a short ride from Stowe, where we spent a good deal of time when not enjoying the house. (Butler’s Pantry and the Round Hearth have great breakfasts, Idletyme food was delicious)
We all agreed this was an all-around great place to stay and would certainly return - maybe in the summer when we can use the canoe!
This beautiful camp right on the lake was everything we could have wanted. The kitchen is so well set up all the appliances and dishes pots and pans are like new. Lots of boats and water toys. Private and quiet. Just a great stay!
