D Gowdy Suite 1 is ground level with private key-less entry and screened porch with skylight. The hot tub is located in the Aspens and is shared with the other rental on the property. The bedroom has a 32 inch TV and king size bed. The kitchen has all essentials and extras. The living area has a couch, desk and 42 inch TV. The bathroom has a blow dryer and extra towels. OHVs are only allowed to travel on Hwy 149 from June 13th until September 30th.

Place was perfect for 7 night stay! Close to restaurants, parks, the Alpine loop, Stoney Pass, other outdoor activities and 4WD trails. Hot tub was nice after a day of activities. The bed was very comfortable. The layout of the space worked well to accommodate our. Would visit again!

Great host wonderful spot

The place was great. The host went above and beyond even to the point he met me as I got out of my vehicle and gave me the run down of the rental. I really appreciated the almost family like warmth I got from Jim and can’t say enough about the friendly people I met in the town on my short stay. I look forward to utilizing Jim’s other properties as I bring people to enjoy the hidden gem that is Lake City.

A great place to kick your feet up!

This was a great home to stay at, the bed was comfortable, the hot tub was nice, the living room cozy, and Jim was fantastic in communicating throughout our stay. I would book this place again in a heartbeat! (The decor and artwork alone was worth staying here for)

Wonderful

The house is cute and cozy, perfect for a couple. Jim is an excellent host and a fantastic communicator. We loved soaking in the hot tub after hiking. We will stay here again next summer.

Clean and Comfortable Accommodations

I stayed in Lake City for a few days to do some hiking in the area, and this house fit my needs. Plenty of room for one or two people. Everything needed was provided. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Perfect Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at a perfect little cabin in Lake City with friends to celebrate a birthday. Communication was fantastic. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed and the location was great. I would highly recommend.

Lake City Getaway

We had an amazing stay at Jim’s place in Lake City! The location was perfect, within walking distance to mostly everything and a close drive to the lake. Jim was very helpful throughout the stay with any questions we had. We enjoyed the hot tub, especially after hiking Uncompahgre! We can’t wait to go back and stay here again!!

Lake City Fishing Trip

Fantastic little place for two in the neighborhood across the street from the Sportsman where our fly fishing trips left out of (ask for Matt - he is fantastic!). Jim was very communicative, nice hot tub in and aspen grove on the property. We will be back!

Lovely Place

I would highly recommend staying at this mini apartment. It was located in a very quiet area of Lake City. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed. Unfortunately, a blizzard was predicted for the area and we chose to leave after one night. We were very disappointed that we didn't get to stay for both of our nights. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed for 3 days at this property. Owners thought of everything to make stay as nice as possible. Hot tub was clean and felt wonderful after a day of hiking. Everything was clean and tidy which we appreciated very much. Recommend Gowdy properties if staying in Lake City

Great place in Lake City

The place fit our needs perfectly. It was nestled up against the hill back from the main road. It was clean and nice. We made great use of the hot tub after some long hikes. Communication with Jim was great.

Autumn Color Trip

The ground level residence was perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. It was thoughtfully equipped, very clean and easy to find. The bed was most comfortable and the host maintained excellent contact. On the off season places to eat are limited but the kitchen is fully set up to cook your own food. We had a very comfortable stay.
