A beautiful studio apartment located in the historic district of town. within walking distance of town park, shopping, restaurants, bars, our amazing local brew pub and amusements. Pleasant comfortable accommodations with a Queen size bed, an additional murphy bed, bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. Nice place, would be good for husband and a wife and a small child. I went with two teenagers so was a little more snug than I would typically choose. Host was great, property, clean, beds, comfortable.

Cute, cozy cabin stay in Lake City

Place was exactly as advertised- clean and cozy and the property manager was very attentive, provided clear check in instructions well in advance and was gracious enough to let us check in early based on change in travel plans! Would 100% stay again!

I will definitely stay here when I return to Lake City! The layout and details made the studio feel much larger than it really was! Quiet, within short walking distances of excellent restaurants, and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery! I enjoyed the small fenced yard with picnic table with umbrella, and flowers along the entry walk.

Great little place

Close to everything. Well outfitted kitchen, we cooked all our meals. Nice grill outside. Warm in winter. Just enough room for 3 of us and the dog.

Fall getaway

Our 7yo and us enjoyed our stay. We didn’t spend much time at the studio other than for dinner and evening time. Perfect location to walk the river and to restaurants. We had our mini bernadoodle with us as well and the small yard was good for night time potty breaks.

Really Enjoyed the stay. Second time-first was 2023. Host is very involved to ensure we had no problems. Clean, essentials all there, centrally located. Only thing missing is a view. Would stay again.

Gowdy studio fishing outpost

The Gowdy studio worked great for my son and I on our ice fishing visit and tournament. Jim is very good to deal with and is a great communicator. We will definitely stay at the Gowdy properties again.

Cute place with a great location

I loved my stay at this sweet little studio. Everything was in place to cook meals, do laundry, and have a comfortable nights rest. I traveled with my mini dachshunds and was very appreciative for a location allowing pets and nice fended yard. Super easy check in and check out process. Jim was a great host. I will definitely stay again.

Perfect Stay in Lake City!

We had a fantastic time during our stay in LC! This property was cozy, well-maintained and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Mr. Gowdy was responsive and incredibly accommodating for our earlier than expected arrival. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and we really loved the inviting courtyard. The unit was tranquil and private while being in the center of everything. We walked everywhere, and hope to visit again soon.

Studio -music weekend

Great place for our stay with the dog. Close to everything we needed including exploring the town and water access to the river and parks. The Gowdys went way out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. Provided pointers as to places to see and directions. We are planning to return next year as Wife played in the band for the first time this year. Great get-away.

Cute little space in a great location in Lake City

Yard was perfect for our dogs. Small, but workable. The glow in the dark rocks and lighting were an adorable touch at night! Great for outdoor hanging. Murphy bed very old fashioned but cool, mostly comfortable for one person, if a little short. Loved our first visit to Lake City.

Nice Visit

First visit to Lake City and enjoyed ourselves due in a large part to the lodging. It was very comfortable and clean. The amenities including washer and dryer made for a nice stay. The only challenge we had was with the volume on the TV. We could barely hear it and there were no volume controls on the remotes. Other than that, highly recommend!!!
