"A great little home situated right in the middle of Troy. Convenient location and quiet neighborhood. House reminded me of staying with my grandparents when I was a kid. Warm and inviting with everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. "
"The heat/cooling (because you need both in Montana in April) was a bit tricky to regulate. They had a couple marks on the thermostat that helped once I figured out why they were there.
I was happy with the Roku TV, but it took a little while to figure out that I couldn't log in with my own accounts, so settled for the Roku Live and was happy with that."

"If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and just enjoy the lake, this is the place. It feels a lot like going to your grandparents’ cabin where you can swim, boat, play cards and listen to the frogs at night. It was the perfect place for our family to have some down time. There are plenty of places to gather and visit and plenty of beds. We loved having a private dock and a big yard to relax in. My adult kids were not loving having no internet or cell service but it made the cabin experience even more true to summers on the lake. I would definitely go back again. Listening to the frogs at night and then waking up to the fog rolling over the lake as the birds sang felt like heaven. This was the perfect Troy stay!"
"The Sandman was ok- it is pet friendly, but there was a lot of hair on the furniture and along the edges of the floor. I forgot my slippers- and regretted it as my white socks were filthy after just a small amount of time spent inside. The countertop outside the bathroom was questionable if not had been cleaned (suspicious red droplets 😳). Also-there was a bucket (and liner) for ice- but no ice machine to be seen.
Over all the facility was freshly renovated- aesthetically very nice- had all the other ‘extras’ (toiletries) that proved very helpful.
I would say we ‘got what we paid for’- as it was very affordable - but a little more attention to the deep cleaning would be wonderful."
"I highly suggest if you stay when the restaurant is closed walk across the street to the Antler’s for breakfast or the Switchback for lunch or dinner! Also no coffee or water cups available in rooms. If you want coffee you have to go to the lobby but if it’s before 6 am it’s cold and old. The pool and the hot tub were the best part of our trip. My son has autism and has irregular hours so coffee availability would be great!"
