Pleasant stay

Our stay was very comfortable. Extras like coffee, shampoo etc. were a nice surprise.And we really enjoyed chilling on the deck.Good views over the lake and a nice quiet neighborhood.

Clean and quiet

This is a very nice house it was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The grill was clean. Nice location for what we like to do in the area. A nice small grocery store close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little getaway!

Awesome place to stayup north! The cottage was clean, comfortable and plenty of room. Lake Ann has always been one of my favorite places up north and if you've never been there your missing out. Chad was great with communication and we had a great time and will be back soon!

Great stay

It was a long day of travel and work on the first day. The easy check in was very nice. The message on the fridge welcoming us was nice, really enjoyed the frosted mugs! Very clean home, had everything we needed, never ran out of anything.

Quiet, clean, comfortable home

Big enough for family of 5 and dog to spread out comfortably and was clean. Had everything we needed; every day we’d venture out to explore Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, Glen Arbor, charming towns- property is in great location.

Quiet Getaway

The home met all of our needs while visiting with family in the area. Bonuses included a nice backyard porch with a grill, large garage to park two vehicles, and a nice view of the lake across the street. Owner was available for any of our needs while also allowing us space. Thank you for the stay!

Beautiful setting and perfect location

The full package! Very comfortable and all the amenities to make you feel right at home! We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy it all. But what we did was very enjoyable Down the road is the quaint village of Lake Ann Some hidden gems!

Felt like home

Very clean. Super cute house with all the amenities. We used as home base for day trips and visiting friends. It was great to come home to a comfortable bed with quality pillows and bedding. Nice getaway close to Traverse City

We had a great time staying in Lake Ann and at this house. Beds were wonderful! The house is about 15-20 minutes or so from Traverse City and 20-30 minutes to Sleeping Bear Dunes, so the house is in a great spot. House had everything we needed to relax after a day at the beach or shopping in Traverse City - great beds, shower, washer/dryer, deck with outdoor seating. A restaurant, local brewery with live outdoor music, and a general store for quick grocery needs are all about a 1/2 mile away. Host was very responsive when we had to reach out to him. It really was a nice stay and would stay again in the future if we're back in the Traverse City area.

Perfect Location & Accommodation

With a prior reason for some in our family to be in the Lake Ann area already, we were able to tag on a two-night stay to enjoy what that spectacular northern Michigan area has to offer. We enjoyed local kayaking, biking, driving around the Traverse City Bay area, and eating at a few local spots, all with this VRBO as our perfect landing spot in between times. The owner was quick to help and offer his best guidance to activities in the area, easy to communicate with, and provided a wonderful, clean, safe, and well-stocked home in which to stay for our short jaunt. A highlight was sitting on the lovely back deck in the evenings! Highly recommended and hope to return again next year!

charming and private

We loved this house! The location was a great launching pad to get to various lakes, towns, wineries and events. The back deck was peaceful and private. It was great to have use of the garage to store our wave runner for added security. One can tell that this place is offered as a labor of love with sweet details of the beautiful flowers and charming décor. The place is a true value and the town offered a nice coffee shop and brewery with live music. Thank You!

Fantastic Lake Ann house!

We loved the big, private deck, the comfortable beds, and the well-appointed kitchen. There is even an extra ice maker! Lake Ann is a very cute little town and my 70 yr old dad had a lot of fun hearing live music at the Lake Ann Brewery. We also enjoyed the restaurants in town. We don't have kids, but there is a playground in town that is very nice and looked like fun. Chad's place is close to Traverse and close to the National Lakeshore, as well as the Platte River - the location was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Chad!

Great Time!

Our family came from Northeast Ohio to visit family in Interlochen. It was the first time we had been up there since 2010. We had five adults, one toddler and 2 dogs. We were very comfortable and close to everything. The motto in the general store in Lake Anne is if we don't have it you don't need it. They had everything. Traverse City was a 20 minute drive. We traveled there several days. We enjoyed the parks and toured a lighthouse. The evenings were spent on the deck around the fire pit with our family enjoying our time together. Our host Chad is a great guy and he was very easy to contact. The week went quick. If we venture up north in the future, we would definatley stay again. Thanks Chad for making this a comfortable stay!

Clean, Close, and Comfy

Our first impressions were that it was very cute, had enough space, and was very clean! The first night the thermostat seemed to be malfunctioning so I contacted Chad in the morning and he came over on his lunch break! Easy fix...just needed new batteries. We then asked him for suggestions on things to see/places to eat. He gave us many and even sent messages later with additional! Was located in the perfect spot right between Traverse City and Sleeping Bear. Perfect location for the Fall color tours you can drive. Beautiful. When they say the local grocery store (a few minute walk) has a little bit of everything, they aren't kidding. They've thought of everything. The local eatery was SOOO good and the brewery as well. All in all, we will definitely stay here again.
