It was a great stay, it was a unique experience that we really enjoyed. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was very good with a nice ambience. The free breakfast was a very pleasant surprise, it was extensive and the offerings were delicious.
We would definitely stay there again!
Very personable staff. They take the time to walk you around the property and helped with transportation to the airport. Highly recommend this property.
What an incredible property to stay at. Unfortunately my husband and I were only able to enjoy it for one night. It was a wonderful day at the beach, followed by great breakfast the next day. There was three other couples who stayed with us and they also enjoyed the property.
Wonderful! Pool & private beach area. Rooms were lovely, staff were enormously kind and it’s not an overly large resort so there was wonderful peacefulness.
Lovely resort, friendly welcome at reception and with all staff. Comfortable bed
Only down I have was a smell in our bathroom in the morning very bad drains!
Fantastic small resort on the Italian coast - the whole area was just getting the season started but I can imagine the buzz in the high season.
Can’t fault anything - staff, food, drinks, rooms - fantastic from start to finish- sad to leave.
Beautiful resort with excellent restaurant and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

The place was deserted, it appears to be a summer months venue. It did not have a proper bar just a shack by the swimming pool. Rooms are basic for its rating but very clean. Restaurant food was very good and staff really friendly.
We decided to stay here post cruise. Just to unwind and get ready to fly home. The staff was amazing!! From beginning to end. Not just one but all! The rooms were clean. The grounds beautiful. Not a lot a places around to eat or really do anything but I guess that was the point.
After disembarking from a Crystal cruise in Civitavecchia I had an extra day before flying out of Rome. Rather than go into the city on such a short visit I elected to rent a car and visit the Etruscan necropolis in the area before spending the night at this hotel. It was a great decision. I highly recommend this place and if the weather is seasonally good it would make sense to stay two nights and enjoy the beach. The restaurant is excellent too.
Resort was a surprising oasis in an otherwise non descript area of town. Black sand, beach bar, pool, restaurant, great staff - all made it a perfect way to end our two weeks in Italy
We stayed at Riva Di Palo for one night before the end of our Italian holiday and wish we would have arranged to spend more time here. The property is beautiful and well-kept, especially the beach area which is maintained by a staff of lifeguards. The rooms are bright, fresh, and adequately cooled with individual AC units. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the on-site restaurant serves delicious meals. We did not venture out into the Ladispoli area and can’t say much about the neighborhood, but the resort property itself is very safe. Bring your own beach towel to use unless you want to rent one from the reception desk for 5€.

Good for a few nights.
A clean resort, with great beach access. They have a lovely property but the property is old. It would really benefit from a refresh.
This place was absolutely amazing. (Wish I could rate more stars) Everything from the cleanliness, grounds upkeep, dining onsite, pool area, beach bar and beach area. Was looking for a place to get away and unwind and take a break and this place gave that to me. I can't say enough about the staff. Everyone was nice & friendly and eager to help in anyway possible to make your stay exceptional. You could tell that everyone took pride in working here and always smiling. I would definitely recommend to anyone and there might be another trip for me to visit again soon.
Great experience. Does have a shuttle to airport, but not free. They were able to call a Taxi for p/u at 80 EUR. I tried on Uber Black and Taxi apps - but couldn't get a confirmation. Was glad they had someone that would come for the ride. Room was clean - and great service at check-in & check-out. Breakfast was typical Italian breakfast with good fresh juices and some amazing fresh baked goods. Was a great last night in Italy.

Gorgeous sunset, volcanic black sand beach
We ended our Italy trip here with cocktails at the beachside bar, watching sunset! We had an early flight out of Rome the next morning (driving back from Cinque Terre). We were initially going to just crash at a hotel near the airport, but instead decided to try this hotel on the beach, about 30 min north of FCO.
So glad we stayed here! Staff were so friendly. The owner was on site and we ate at the restaurant, which had a pretty outdoor seating area. Food and drinks were great, and our waiter recommended a good local wine. Very chill vibe and a relaxing end to our trip.
Just to set expectations: This is an older property that was recently renovated, so there are some parts that are a bit dated/worn, but the furnishings are new and everything was very clean. Driving in, it’s just south of a more industrial area, with a large port. We drove through a neighborhood with lots of apartments with laundry hanging and there was some graffiti around the exterior back wall of the hotel. If you are expecting an ultra-lux resort, this may not be a good fit. But if you want a relaxed and comfortable stay in a beachside resort with friendly staff, great food/drinks, and gorgeous sunsets, then this resort is perfect.
The property is fantastic. We were so spoiled and cared for. It was an excellent relaxing ending to our European vacation. It is a quick 30 minute drive to the airport for easy rental car drop off right in the terminal.
