"Beautiful beach area, 3 pools, area to have lunch on the beach and breakfast and dinner by the pool, very pretty in the evening with all the lights. You need transport if you want to leave the resort though as the area is very hilly and hard to walk, 10 minutes taxi ride to Labuan bajo. More sun loungers needed, especially on the beach area. Perfect place if you want to relax before/after a boat trip around Komodo islands"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Sudamala. The service and hospitality of the staff was outstanding. We checked out for an overnight excursion and when we returned the next day our bags were already in our room and everything was seamless. The pool and beach amenities were relaxing and enjoyable, including poolside service from bar. And we had outstanding meals and service in the restaurant. Would stay here again any time"

"Rooms and surroundings seemed clean enough. Enjoyed breakfast that was included in my room price. Staff were friendly. One night I caught a huge cockroach that was lurking on my bed, specifically my pillow when I got back to my room and turned the lights on. Called reception and they sent a worker up with a small spray, but I already caught and disposed of it so this was useless. Unsure if it entered room from outside or hotel grounds. They offered their apologies and that was it. Needless to say, I did not sleep well that night at all. Also the bed sheets could be cleaned (washed) better. Pillows had yellowish stains. Both my stays were comfortable overall. I’d give it 3.5 stars."

"Really amazing property! Gorgeous and the staff are so attentive and helpful. The jetty was so perfect for Sunny days - can jump into the water and it’s perfect. There’s a bar at the end that will keep you hydrated. Every spot in the hotel was ideal for watching the sunset. Amenities were great, the only reason for 4 stars is that so many of them were behind a “paywall.” When you’re paying this much per night, you would hope that snorkel gear is provided free of charge at the least! With that said, they had a nice yoga/stretching class for free and a well maintained gym."
