Very quiet, beautiful location with a wonderful view of the valley from the ridgetop. The room was a bit small and lacked a dining table with a couple of chairs that would have been useful for having lunch or playing a game in the evening, but clean and well appointed for a short stay. Wifi was decent and easy to access, staff was helpful and friendly. Overall a good location for day trips around the area, priced at a reasonable rate.

The room was big and all we needed for our overnight stay. However, I registered 2 adults and 3 children. The bathroom had 3 bath towels and 2 washcloths. The office closed before we were back to call to get more towels.

Awesome mountain top lodge. Perfect for a silent retreat and beautiful mountain views. There weren't any amenities or staff that i saw since we were at a lodge separate from the office area. Just the way we wanted it.

Quiet place to stay during the week. Rustic. Staff was very acccomodating but please not that staff are not present on the property 24 hours per day. There are set times that they are present. I arrived to the property shortly after 6pm Eastern, and had to call an individual to check me in. Staff was great in the check in procedure although I had to wait approximately 30 minutes before staff arrived. The only other objection that I had was with the cleanliness of the room, particularly with the ammount of dust within the A/C unit and upon vents and fixtures. Other than those 2 issues, it was a pleasant and quiet stay.

Beautiful views, really nice staff. It was a Monday in a very small town, so not much was open, but they gave us a list of local restaurants. It was a great, too short, stay. Next time we will try to stay longer.

Alas, poor Mountain Top Inn, I thought I knew you. I have stayed there back in the day, when there were hot tubs in the rooms. They have made obvious and welcome efforts to improve the property and the rooms. I especially appreciate the excellent bed, and an actual chair. However, it's not as well kept as one would like. In particular, the carpet is super nasty. We wore socks the whole time. Ask for a room with no carpet! Yes, we enjoyed the stay. The views are great, the air conditioning is cold, and I can't applaud the bed enough. We will likely return, but only if the room has no carpet.

The lodge was peaceful and clean. The view was lovely. The location was an easy short trip to warm Springs on the right and Pine Mountain on the left. I am looking forward to going back to staying here many times again in the future, especially in the fall.
