5 Star Holiday Retreat

This, unique, modern home has a style all its own. Built in 2020, this one-of-a-kind dwelling sits on the Cucharas River in beautiful La Veta, a small, intimate town, in Southern Colorado.

This architectural masterpiece boasts 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 4 decks, 2 full gourmet kitchens and 3 living rooms and is situated on a very secluded and private piece of La Veta teeming with wild life.
There are spectacular floor to ceiling windows throughout, toasty radiant heated concrete floors, majestic views from every angle including the Wahatoya (Spanish Peaks) from the main living room.

Each of the bedrooms is exquisitely appointed with the highest quality bedding, furniture, and views of the Cucharas River along with the surrounding countryside.

This incredible structure is filled with colorful, original and whimsical art, a wide array of plants and stunning views. The wide open floor plan includes over 12 foot ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and evokes the feeling that you are one with nature.

This secluded property also includes a hot tub, trampoline, hammock, tree house and a peaceful park along the edge of the Cucharas River.

With downtown La Veta within a minute of this magical, hidden jewel of a dream home you will forget that you are anywhere that you have been before…

Spacious and bright accommodations

Nine of us thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay! Space enough for quiet times and group times, indoors and outdoors on the large 2nd floor deck and individual decks. Windows everywhere had us feeling we shared the outdoors in privacy. Hearing birds and the Cuchara River through open windows was a joy. Every bedroom is nice; there isn’t a bedroom that isn’t great. Huge theater-quality TV if you have an event you want to watch. Loved the spacious kitchens, high tech bathrooms, and great radiant floor heating (no need for fireplace). And hosts were pleasant and very responsive!

What a home! We loved every minute of our trip and only wish we had more time to be "in the house!" Thank you for creating such a beautiful home. Every detail was just right. We would love to re-book the next time we are in La Veta. We cannot thank you enough! Great space, great kitchens, comfortable rooms....you name it...the home was described perfectly!
