This large basement apartment has everything you need including a private entrance.
Large well lit downstairs apartment with all the comforts in a beautiful setting. This basement apartment is very light and open, features 9 ft ceilings, and is approximately 1700 sq. ft. The unit is accessed through an exterior private entrance and a keyless entry system.
It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen and large family room.
The bedroom has a king sized bed and walk-in closet. There is a queen bed in the family room, separated by a privacy curtain.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven and many small appliances including a waffle iron and mix. A BBQ is located on the back patio for you to use as well.
For your convenience, Wi-Fi is also provided.
NOTE: Children are welcome but must not be left unattended in the yard. A creek runs through the back of our property and can be quite dangerous during thunderstorms.
About two weeks before you arrive, you will receive an email with the driving directions and the keyless entry code so that you can get in without having to meet up with anyone.
Your host is available by Airbnb chat, live chat text, phone and the caretaker is always close by.
La Verkin is a small town located about 20 minutes from the entrance to Zion National Park. We have a grocery store, a couple of gas stations and an excellent coffee shop. We are located next to Hurricane, which has a Walmart, movie theater, restaurants and more. If you need more than that, St. George is about 25 minutes away.
You will need a car to get around. We have plenty of parking.
Check-in instructions are sent via email and text two weeks before arrival. Quiet hours are from 10PM until 7AM CHECK-IN is AFTER 4 p.m. Mountain Time AND CHECK-OUT is BEFORE 11 a.m. Mountain Time NO early check-in or late check-out. ALL UNITS ARE NON SMOKING. SMOKING IS ALLOWED 25 FT FROM BUILDINGS. SMOKING IN THE UNIT WILL RESULT IN A $200 FINE. PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN ANY UNIT UNDER ANY CONDITION. BRINGING A PET TO ANY UNIT WILL RESULT IN A $200 FINE. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES

My husband and I wanted to hike The Narrows and Angles Landing. Bucket list items. They didn’t disappoint. The rental was roomy, clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. Very home-y feeling. Not cluttered. Drive to the park was 20 min give or take. Thank you to our hosts.
Great setup for coming home after a day at Zion or the dunes. Hot water in the shower was limitless and had great pressure.

Great Place to stay
We enjoyed our time in your home. We got to play Frisbee in your side yard and had a lot of fun. Great location to Zion. Clean, LARGE and perfect for our family.
We had a fabulous stay in this property. The host’s attention to detail to make clients stay comfortable is exceptional. It felt like a home away from home to our family . We would highly recommend this place.
My family really enjoyed the large space and the kids liked the privacy curtain around their bed. The location was quiet, easy to find, and a grocery store was just a few blocks away.
Had a great experience here. The place was spacious and clean. About 30 mins to Zion and the nearby towns have plenty of variety for food and necessities. Overall very satisfied.

Large, relaxing place to stay
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The drive to Zion each day was minimal, weighed against all the extra space and the cooking facilities in this VRBO. The hosts responded promptly to one small issue we had with the television.
Overall very pleased with our stay! The location is about 30 minutes to Zion National Park and 20 minutes to Kolob Canyon. Grocery store and restaurants are close by. We liked the coffee and food at River Rock Roasting Company. Bed was comfortable. Access and instructions were great. Only one thing to note which is also in the listing, you can hear the people upstairs so if you are bothered by that you might want to bring a sound machine or earplugs to muffle the noise while you sleep. I would definitely recommend this location for your stay!
This apartment is spacious, light, very clean, and comfortable. The owners have thought of every detail to make the stay perfect, like a welcome sign with chocolates, a guest book with information, a shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower, a full length mirror, tables and lights on both sides of the bed, a waffle maker complete with pancake and waffle mix, and much more! The place is convenient to a grocery store, Zion National Park, and Red Cliffs State Park. Highly recommended!

Great landing place for Zion
I want to start by saying that Monica was great to deal with. We were unable to get our walk-up permit to stay overnight in Zion and contacted her to book the unit. While the site would not allow us to book same day Monica was able to get us booked. The unit was just as described and was perfect for our overnight stay. We had to be in Zion for 6:00am and we had a short drive to Zion. There was plenty of space for us to prep for our Zion visit and b/c it was downstairs we didn't bother anyone going in and out. I would recommend this unit for anyone wanting to stay outside of Zion at a reasonable price. I would stay here again if given the chance to.

Decided on this property for its location by Zion NP. Great space for a couple or small family. Comfortable with plenty of light even though it is a basement! Plenty of outdoor space and walking trail just down the road.
